This has been a favorite of mine since (I would guess) 2017! They’re appy hour specials between 4-6pm daily (if you sit at the bar/bar top tables) include half off raw bar, a few pizzas, and apps, and WOW, everything I get is always fresh, delicious, and seasoned well. Highly recommend! Every time I am back in RI, I make it a point to stop in!

Evan is the person to ask why you're getting a one star review. $40 tip on an 83 dollar tab. Apparently that isn't enough for Evan and he wants to complain about it in front of the whole bar. If i was the owner. I would go right to the 9 o'clock video surveillance. I gave an extra 20 to save the other bartendor the grief. He ruined the short time I have to have a bite and unwind!!!!

November 11, 2024 After a recent visit! My review today is about East Bay Oyster Bar, and to talk about the Staffing & the Level of Excellence for my Five Star Rating. This rating comes from a Foodservice professional of over forty years of experience in the foodservice industry. (Factors to consider when Rating): Service / (Server) Quality of Food & Presentation, Mixologist/ Bartender & Cleanliness. All the right ingredients for a successful venue. East Bay Oyster Bar is a place of comfort & engagement. I'm particularly impressed with an individual (Elise W.) I have seen Elise develop through the ranks of server to Shift Manager. However, over the years, what is most impressive is about her Listening Skills.( Something missing now days) A few short years ago, a server with a smile, knowledgeable about the menu, so impressive, personality plus, and now to a position in management. Great accomplishment Elise. It’s so refreshing to feel the climate and culture of EB. "Successful Managment is achieved through the Efforts of others" I congratulate Elise and the Team at East Bay Oyster Bar, and for their service and a reason for my FIVE Star Rating!
I spent $285 on lunch and was asked to leave our table because they had a reservation for this specific table. At the time we were asked to leave, the dining room was nearly empty. I spoke to management, and miraculously, we had the table as long as needed—damage done. I will spend my money elsewhere. This is very poor customer service. The mere fact that we spent so much gave us privilege (after the fact) and greater standing than other customers. This is what was genuinely unnerving. ALL customers should be treated as royalty regardless of economic standing or meal expense.

Tasty food & great service & vibes ✨️ lobster vodka penne was delicious ? good sized pieces of lobster and yummy sauce. The fresh oysters were great as well, served with cocktail sauce & a vinegary sauce. Scampi was delicious as well & full of shrimp ? Our waitress was friendly & quick. Lots of seating options (bar area & dining area). Window seats available. Tables & booths. You can see the chefs prep in front of you as well. Overall, highly recommend and will be back. Affordable prices & good quantity as well.
