Dined here last Friday night . Food was phenomenal. Small restaurant , definitely recommend a reservation . Service by Jason was spectacular , pace and flow of everything was spot on , never rushed , but never waited for anything either . A true gem . We will be back .

My second visit was Saturday night. Absolutely packed. You needed a reservation to sit at the bar. I arrived at 8:15. Fortunately a table opened up as I did not have a reservation. They're a very unique Southern Italian upscale Italian restaurant. Charlie my server provided Impeccable service. He's a foodie so outstanding description of the special for the night. Previous visit I've had the parmesan veal bone-in 14 oz. Absolutely delicious. I was open to what I was going to have Saturday night. The special for the evening wild boar with persimmons in a hearty thick red sauce. The wild boar melted in your mouth. Both visits were phenomenal in every way. I grew up on Northern Italian cuisine as my grandmother was born in Florence Italy. The very best authentic Italian restaurant in the area

This fine dining restaurant is equivalent to DeWulf's in food and service. But it is a small dining room. The genre of the piped-in music is appropriate for the restaurant, but the big orchestra brassy numbers played at a high volume level were not. Like most people we enjoy quiet conversation when we dine and prefer not to have to shout over the music. When will restaurants learn this?

We recently had Viola cater our daughter's birthday dinner party, and everyone was raving about the food! From the Point Judith Calamari and House Made Focaccia to the Gnocchi Alla Sorrentina, Risotto Pomodoro, Chicken Milanese, and Herb Crusted Salmon, everything was absolutely delicious. We can't thank Viola enough for making our daughter's birthday one to remember.
The food is delicious! This is a staple for date night with my husband. We absolutely love the atmosphere, food, and drink! If you’re in the Barrington area and haven’t tried it yet, here’s your sign. Reservations encouraged!

My husband and I visited this restaurant last night for the 1st time to celebrate our anniversary. It did not disappoint! Our server Charlie was very friendly and knowledgeable offering helpful suggestions. If you love bread definitely try the focaccia! Had dinner at Viola on Wednesday night , the service is impeccable. The food is amazing, absolutely delicious. This was one of the best dining experiences that I've had in years and I dine out a lot! We had calamari to start, it was delicious. Most of my party had pasta dishes , I had the ribeye, which was cooked to perfection. This is a 5 star restaurant, definitely try it as soon as possible!
