We stopped by here on our way home from the airport . My husband didn’t want much so he ended up getting breakfast and I tried the spring menu gold Carolina chicken tenders. The scrambled eggs and bacon were cooked but didn’t look that appealing on the plate. The chicken was very good, served with a cup of sauce to dip in. The biscuits and muffins use to come out before our meal arrived but came at the same time as our entrees. I liked it better the other way so you could munch on something while you wait for your meal. Also we had to ask for napkins; we were only given 2. And lastly, $3.19 for a small cup of coffee is outrageous; no refills were offered on drinks (I had water with lemon). Sadly, we were kind of disappointed with this visit to one of our favorite places .

Love this place. Where else can you shop and eat in the same place? The food was so good and filling!! Great prices and service. Everyone is so nice here.Kid-friendliness: There were several kids in the dining room. There are foods specifically for them.

First time here, food was pretty decent. Everyone was nice and the actual store was cool. My server unfortunately wasn't very attentive and left my boyfriend and I sitting and looking around for her for a while until I asked another waitress for help and she told me my server was in the back on her phone lol disappointed with the overall experience:(

Just went to the Coventry location around 4pm. Ordered fried chicken, turnip greens and pinto beans. The order came out awfully fast for fried chicken. It was overcooked and rather dark colored batter. It was very greasy and tasteless. The veggies were tasteless also. This wasn’t the way I remembered this place. It used to be pretty good and popular. My waitress was wonderful and trying to do her best serving everyone while also bussing the tables. I felt bad for her so I never mentioned the lousy food. The price was reasonable but I would gladly have paid more for a better quality meal. Someone had better get in that kitchen and see what is going wrong. I won’t be back until I hear it has improved. Maybe this company needs to overhaul this location starting in the kitchen!

Someday I'll try something other than the chicken fried steak, but until then I'll tell you my wife's food is always different and she always enjoys it. Last time she had the blueberry pancakes, they were perfect. The chicken fried steak is always good too ?

My wife and I enjoyed the food and Lexi, our waitress was very nice and did a great job. Of course you are at Chacker Barrel nota five star gourmet restuarant, so your you can just relax and becomfy while dining , we like that.
