We’ve been going here since they opened we’ve lived in Coventry for 20 years, probably been here at least 50 times. I’m very sorry to report both the customer service & the food has been a long downhill slide. For years they were easily a 5/5 no for us personally dropped to a consistent 3/5. A cranky owner, management never checks tables or bothers to greet customers, inattentive wait staff and that’s just the front of the house problems. The food also has changed quite a bit. The fried rice now barely seasoned, they changed their crab Rangoons to frozen onion filled ones, thin over cooked beef teriyaki, a slightly chemical tasting wonton in the wonton soup, and guys look at the pic of the spare ribs, I mean come on. Burnt scraps that I’m not even 💯 sure are even pork. But whatever they are they’re thinner than any spare ribs I’ve ever seen. To be clear we used to LOVE this place! Times are tight so unfortunately it’s a real disappointment that this will likely be our last time giving them our hard earned money. Finally if you notice the owners don’t even care enough to respond to ANY reviews good or bad.

I have been coming here, the Coventry location, for years. Everything was always wonderful however, about a year ago I came with a friend of mine, and the food was definitely not the same…. greasy no flavor.

About six months ago, I said well I’ll give it another chance. The food was even worse. The eggroll was completely dried out. The boneless spareribs were all fat; I said never again.
Well this evening I was really dying for Chinese food so I figured I would give Dragon one last chance. Maybe it’s OK.

This is it…. I will never come back. They don’t have traditional duck sauce anymore. It’s brown and it has a smoky burnt flavor. The boneless ribs were just all fat and had a burned flavor. The fried rice had absolutely no flavor whatsoever, and my cocktail was so strong it was awful.

The bartender appeared to be the only weight staff. She did the best she could so I can’t complain about that.

It’s just really sad because that’s it. I don’t know if this location has been sold if there’s a new chef or what’s going on but over the past year, they have definitely changed something because the food is really not good anymore.

If you want chinese food that I can only described as americanized in a way that makes it taste healthier than I want my chinese food to be. Boneless ribs are more like beef teriyaki meat than nuggets of fatty candy goodness, wonton soup has chicken breast and some greens resembling lettuce, no pea pods. Moo goo gai pan was missing flavor. Was a bummer. It’s not BAD, just not what I’m looking for when I order chinese take out.

Great sit-down Chinese restaurant. They also serve sushi and have a full bar. Order early for New Year's Eve because they get extremely busy!
Plenty of parking and it's handicapped accessible.

Dragon Palace is one of our regular spots, and it’s always solid. My mom and I go pretty often, and the food is consistently good every time we’re there. No surprises, just reliable quality.

The orange chicken dinner combo is my go-to — crispy, flavorful, and always satisfying. Portions are good, prices are reasonable, and it’s the kind of place you know you’ll enjoy whenever you stop in.

Food was over an hour late. Not wirth the wait. Sweet and sour sauce watered down, lo mein awful. I spent $130 on food that was mediocre at best. Never again. A lot of dissatisfied unhapoy customers here this night.

Ordered 125$ worth of food. The food is usually great. I've been going here for years without issues. Tonight they had teenagers running the front who have horrible attitudes and no customer service! They were so rude to my family and I. We will never go back here. I would recommend everyone to stay far away. Clearly this business has gone down hill judging from the recent reviews! They should hire employees who care about the business and have some respect!

They were quite busy but actually sat us quickly. The good was good. My only issue was that the waitress kept apologizing for my food taking much longer than everyone else at the table. I ended up waiting about 10 minutes longer than everyone else. Oddly, my entree came out cold. I would still come back.

This is one of our go-to places for Chinese food. We always enjoy the food, and the portions are very generous. Leftovers are great the next day too.

Have been going there for years, with no issues.Food has always been great, went there last night to pick up a takeout order. Combination plate chicken wings, with multiple other items, the wings were not there, so they gave me a fifteen dollar credit, spare rib combination plate and crab rangoon, the rice was burnt, and the inside of the crab rangoon was all try it out. I was disappointed so I called, and they basically told me where to go and thought I was trying to get free food, in my opinion bad business
