Last month got shorted a dog...today got shorted $10 in change....food is good people are nice but not paying attention and messing up orders and getting smoked for a 10 if I go back shame on me...check your order and count your change!!!

First off I would like to say that I’ve been getting takeout for many years at Santoros, usually pizza, hot weiners, or the Italian grinder. I am very picky on certain foods and Steak grinders are one of them. My husband made me try a bite last time we ordered takeout and I thought it tasted good. So this week I ordered one the Steak cheese mushrooms and onion! And I have to say that it was the best steak grinder I’ve ever had. This has become my favorite off the menu. Yum

Santoro's in Coventry is really, really good pizza. Crust is always perfectly golden brown, cooked perfectly, buttery and delicious. Sauce is fantastic. Sweet and flavorful. They also have the best Hot wieners in the area if you're interested in those as well. Super nice, friendly, local people working hard in there all day long. Everything is done fast, friendly and at great prices. Driving home with it in the car. I don't know that I've had a better smelling Pizza for air freshener in quite some time. Santoro's has been around a long time and sometimes people forget about them but if you give them a try again, I think you're going to find it might be the best pizza in the area on any given day.

What's changed???? We used to like the pizza and hot wieners. Today was different. The color of the pizza dough didn't look like it was cooked. It was cooked but looked like it might have been sitting around for several hours before someone put the sauce and toppings on. Maybe the oven wasn't hot enough. The sauce tasted different (not as good) and wasn't pushed out near the crust. The pepperoni has changed as well - bigger pieces and more spicier than good. The wieners were rubbery and there wasn't the usual toppings - no mustered. We used to like this place but not sure if we will give it another try.
