Remember this place as a dive bar when I was a kid.Amazing transformation.Was really when we stopped. Great drinks . Pasta and meatballs were very good .Tasty sauce,homemade meatballs huge portions.However very disappointed with baked stuffed cod.Very dry with plain breadcrumbs sprinkled on top.They were also out of few things. My family (4 adults, 1 toddler, 1 baby) went for dinner tonight after reading really good reviews over the past few months. We walked in and the waitress immediately put 2 tables together for us. We didn’t see her again for 20 minutes. The place was busy, but there were 2 or 3 open tables at that point. When she returned she did apologize for the delay and stated they were short staffed tonight. When she delivered our drinks we put our dinner order in knowing it was pretty busy. We had no idea it would take another hour and 10 minutes to see our food. 3 individuals ordered sandwiches and I ordered the chicken parm dinner. Right before our meals came I decided I needed to take my baby home because it was getting so late so the rest of my party took my dinner home to me. The chicken parm was nothing (and I mean nothing) to write home about. My 4 year old son got penne with 2 small meatballs ($12!). I 100% realize they were short staffed but I would have expected the waitress to realize we had 2 small children in our party and told us we would be looking at over an hour. OH! And 2 gentleman walked in after us, were seated at a table close by so I heard them order 2 sandwiches (the same 2 as people in my party) and they ate and cashed out before our meals came.
I REALLY REALLY love supporting local businesses… I can’t tell you the last time I ate at a chain restaurant but I can tell you that I’m in no rush to return to Sherry’s.
Like I said, I’ve read great reviews but I cannot in good faith leave one.

Last night I got the fish and chips on a Saturday! Everything was delicious. The fish was literally perfect. Not too much breading but just enough. I ate it so fast. Thank you for the quality food.

We had a first communion party catered this weekend and I can’t say enough good things about our experience. The food was phenomenal. The staff were super professional and helpful. Sherri went out of way to make everything perfect for us. Will definitely be making this a regular spot.
