Excellent breakfast, wonderful homemade corned beef hash, scrambled eggs made just right!
Home fries were very bland and had little to no seasoning on them but the waffles were good. I liked the cheese omelette but it was a little dry.
Amazing food, great service. Really feels like a happy home vibe. Recommend eggs Benedict.
Great prices awesome food was worth the trip from Ginny B Campground in Foster definitely would go again
Great food, great prices, great service. Lots of yummy choices on the menu.
Just moved to the area and found this hidden gem. Great food, and very friendly service. We are definitely going to Skips again.
Excellent and friendly service. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. I plan on coming back for sure
Best breakfast spot in RI.Homemade and delicious. We went with a family of 8 and everyone's meal was spot on.
My friend and I were out on an adventure and we were hungry. The place I wanted to go has apparently gone out of business, so we were driving around and we saw Skips. It looked like a good local place so we stopped. Inside it was a typical diner type place with what was obviously locals eating there. After looking at the menu I noticed they had a special, bisuits and gravy. That is something you NEVER see on a restaurant menu in New England. So I had to try it. My friend got eggs benedict. It took a long time to get our food, even though it wasn't busy. I figureed they probably had to make the biscuits from scratch! So my friend gets served her eggs benedict. I waited at least another 10 minutes before I was served. I told her to go ahead and eat before it got cold. The corned beef has also came with her eggs. My biscuits and gravy was NOT what I expected. Southern biscuits and gravy are smothered with a peppery sausage gravy. This gravy was sweet. There was no pepper flavor. I tried to add pepper, but it wasn't cooked in, so it wasn't really good at all. There was no saving it. Also, the corned beef hash was sweet. I usually love a salty, crusty corned beef hash. I've never had a sweet hash, and I don't ever want it again! On the other hand, my friend's eggs benedict was very good according to her. The service was good, except for me having to wait for my breakfast. The portion sizes are huge. So not my favorite place, not the worst. Just disappointing.
What a great breakfast my wife and I had. The restaurant was very clean and neat. Prices are fair especially for the quality of food. Service was very prompt. Please give Skips Countryside Cafe. You won't go wrong.

Excellent breakfast! Eggs, home fries, homemade sausage, banana bread, coffee all delicious! Service was great too!
We just moved into the neighborhood and found this little gem! Fantastic menu, great food and friendly service. I predict we will be regulars!
Absolutely the best hash and home fries I've ever had. Great menu and terrific staff.
Great waitstaff. Be sure to order your toppings on the SIDE. We ordered a topping of strawberries for the Belgian waffle, and the waffles were stacked with a overly thick layer of strawberry preserves and whipped cream in-between AND on top of the waffles. It was sickeningly sweet and the waffles were too soggy from the preserves and cream. The eggs were runny and the hash browns plain so I probably won’t be coming back for breakfast.
