Honestly, it's just not a place I would ever get food from again. The first impression was embarrassing. The woman that answered the phone sounded like she was turning business away. "You know that's going to take more than 30 minutes" while sighing and huffing and puffing. Like hey I'm calling to order food from you. And you're making me want to hang up because of your attitude. Then we get the fish and chips and the beet goat salad and the stuffed jalapeños. The fish and chips was the size of a large chicken tender. I asked for extra tartar sauce, was charged, never got it. The salad had barely any beets or goat cheese. Plus the add shrimp for $8 and they give you 4 shrimp that were under cooked. Which is hard to do with shrimp. The salad was $22 and I think there was $3 worth of ingredients in it. The stuffed jalapeños appetizer were not even cooked. They were still raw but the stuffing(ranch and cheese) was melted on. I honestly can't believe they are a menu item. And I cab appreciate raw jalapeño on pretty much anything. Then we got the deviled eggs. The bacon that was on then was inedible. Just hard crumble that will crack a tooth. No attention to the details here. My instinct right after hanging up the phone with that lady was to call back and cancel because I couldn't believe we were spending our money there. Then we got our food, and it was a waste of every dollar. I never leave rant reviews. I usually give everyone the benefit of the doubt but this was not a good experience. Change my mind.

Adeline's is a little hard to find, tucked away behind a strip mall, but it is well worth the effort. The cook is a genius. The house made maple bacon is a necessary part of your meal. I had a duck French dip with spicy duck broth for the au jus. Waitstaff was efficient and enthusiastic. Regulars are convivial.

Cannot say enough about this gem of a restaurant. Always an inviting atmosphere and always a good time. Make sure to try their award winning poutine and one of their many amazing cocktails. If you are local to them, you are one lucky rhode islander!

We stopped in for the first time yesterday, November 5th 2023, for lunch just after the noon rush about 1:30pm. The place wasn't very busy. There were four people at the bar and us. We were met by the bartender/waitress with a less then welcoming attitude. The food was excellent, but her lack of attention to us was very off putting. We won't be going back.Parking: It's around the side to the left.

Neat little joint you can literally drive right by if you're not careful. I'm reluctant to review it because I don't want it to get too crowded, but it's a decent dinner date option, which Cumberland doesn't have a ton of.Got right in on a Friday night at 7. The waiter was great and the beers are large enough to dock a jet ski in. Bacon was a hit, as were the soups.I'm taking off a star though because the menu boasts "award winning" poutine. The award must have been "most disappointing poutine-adjacent dish." And for $17? That was a costly mistake. All told, for two people, it was $120 after tip for three rounds of drinks, two appetizers, and two bowls of soup. I've spent more at worse places for sure, but I can't help but feel like the kitchen was off their game that night.

We love to come to Adeline's for the Al Capone steak, the deviled eggs and the Mac N Cheese of the day. We also enjoy the home-made potato chips with cheese sauce. We recommend asking for the sauce on the side. The live entertainment is nice too, and they do offer outdoor seating for the nice weather.

Where to begin.. Let's start with the bartender: great guy. He was welcoming, excited to serve people, personable. He gets 5⭐️.The customer base: plenty of regulars, mostly good humans. That 1 guy. He ruins it. The 1 guy who says "yeah, I got a weapon ", he's no bueno. No 50 something yr old man should be acting like that, and no bar should allow that. But, when the the staff, and the locals cover for you, it's acceptable. Anyway, claiming it was "his bar" was cute. Unfortunately, I still don't know if he owned it. That said, any bar that allows a person to claim its their bar, or makes an effort to justify the actions of a man who threatened an elderly man, is flat our garbage to me!Zero % I ever return! Which is too bad because I really thought the was bartender is a good guy.

Wanted to order pick up at 8:15 on a Saturday (they close at 12:00 am) after seeing the take out my sister and her boyfriend got ordered food for pick up from Adeline’s. Called at 8:15 p.m. only to be told that they’re not currently doing pick up. No wonder this place is getting such bad reviews lately.

Was hoping this place was going to better after seeing a friends rave review. Was semi disappointed. It has an 80 style interior, which is fine. Took me back to my childhood .Once seated it became very dark. A little bit more lighting would of been great. I had the steak tips which were more like steak bites, there weren't very many of them but they were good. Also came with fries which were severely over seasoned. The waitress was ok not rude but not too friendly either. Drinks were pretty good.
