We have been to Phantom Farms a few times now. It is cute, and the bakery items are yummy, but we have never had a positive experience with the service or items where they have had to make (bagels, coffee). Just today, we waited 30+ minutes for three bagels and had to remind the staff multiple times. The staff was not friendly, was overwhelmed, and seemed to care more about slinging out coffee orders than anything else. The service was unacceptable and we will never go here again.

Beautiful location with plenty of seating. I was excited for my first visit as a new resident. Sadly, I waited over 30 minutes for our order to learn it wasn’t put in correctly under my name. The employee who took my order didn’t assign my name and the girl who discovered it laughed about it when all was said and done (wow!). Might be good to train the staff better and make sure they know how to prioritize and manage the names and patrons orders better than tossing them on a shelf. As well as basic service skills given the staff reaction. The food at that point had sat much longer than we thought which left it inedible (nobody wants a cold bagel previously toasted 😅). I even approached multiple times to confirm one of the orders wasn’t confused (say 15 minutes or so in) and they had said no, that was someone else’s order. Sad that such a nice place can’t match the service experience. Could have been better.

Very nice location. Plenty of parking. Always busy, so order ahead or plan accordingly.

Phantom Farms has been a Cumberland staple since I was a kid. However, after it came under new management, the food has seriously gone downhill. It seems that they only care about milking their customers for all they’re worth. I ordered a Caesar wrap for $11.99 and the portion size was appalling. Attached is a picture of the wrap inside a sandwich bag, for reference. It was half the size of a wrap you can buy anywhere else in RI. For $11.99, I expected a lot more. So disappointing to see one of my favorite places cheap out like this. I don’t think I will be supporting this business anymore.

I like this place but yesterday I went there, order counter was packed to the point where people were just in each other’s way. 1 water, 1 milk, 2 breakfast sandwiches and 1 scone. $30 later! They did not get the sandwich orders correct, the food was meh. The whole experience was NOTHING worth trying again but here is my review in case you too had higher expectations. On the bright side it’s a great place to go for apples during apple picking season. It’s a farm not a coffee/breakfast place.

Writing this on behalf of my parents, who ordered two breakfast sandwiches in person this morning (7/18), both with avocado. The receipt showed they were charged for it, but unfortunately, neither sandwich had any. A bit of a letdown to get home and realize something was missing, especially after paying for it. Aside from that, it’s always a solid stop for breakfast and usually very reliable.

I've always wanted to go to get breakfast there. So when a friend asked to meet up I suggested there. We both loved it and plan to go back soon.

I recently visited this bakery for the first time on Friday morning to pick up some muffins for work. The place itself is charming, and I appreciated that they offered vegan options. The staff seemed friendly with other customers, but my experience was quite different.

When it was my turn to order, I wasn’t greeted at all, and the woman who assisted me appeared annoyed. Throughout my visit, I felt unwelcome and uncomfortable, as if I didn’t belong. I even noticed other customers giving me similar looks. Unfortunately, this was a disappointing and disheartening experience.

As a Latina, I have rarely felt so out of place in a business, and it was clear that I was being treated differently. If this establishment does not welcome people like me, they should be upfront about it. Sadly, this was my first and last visit.

Waited in line for 10 minutes today for a coffee. The moment I got to the counter a Door Dasher walked in and took priority over me. The single employee working the counter decided to spend the next 10 minutes attending to the DoorDash order while I continue to wait. Garbage service for mediocre coffee. If you’re looking for better coffee and faster service go to Coffee Connection, Honey Dew or even Dunkin Donuts.
