OMG!! Can’t express the great.. No the fantastic experience myself and family of 5 had!!! Been looking for a live music water front restaurant in awhile since we moved here and I can’t express how this met our needs. Definitely felt like home and we will definitely be back again and again!!!! Kiddos to them and the staff!!

Just stopped for appetizers. Little to no parking! This place runs hot and cold. Food can be good or bad. Service and Staff leaves a lot to be desired. Even the drinks can be good or bad. Just love the location....on the water right there at the marina.

My husband and I had a lovely lunch at BLU recently. You really cannot beat the view, especially if it's a nice weather day. It wasn't too busy for lunch and our server was super friendly. I loved that they had so many different kinds of sangrias-- I went with the lemon strawberry and it did not disappoint . My husband and I shared the clam cakes and chowder as well as the lobster roll. I was impressed with how stuffed the lobster roll was and I thought it was super flavorful and tasty. I've eaten a lot of New England clam chowder and I will say there's did not disappoint. It was also flavorful and the clam cakes were the perfect accompaniment to the dish. I feel like this is a great spot for a more leisurely lunch. Since we were there during the day, on a weekday, we just parked ourselves. I know they do have valet most of the time.

I've eaten lunch at Blu every summer for at least the last five summers. Their service is exceptional, I love that they allow leashes dogs on their patio, and the food is excellent. I especially love their lobster rolls and the choice of regular, truffle, or sweet potato fries. They also offer salad and veggie sides. Their oyster selection is excellent and we love their cocktails and beer selection. You can't go wrong with Blu!

Limited indoor dining,, but we lucked out with an early reservation on a damp, windy night. Phenomenal service, high quality menu items at reasonable prices. Primarily a seafood menu, but you don't visit Rhode Island to eat burgers. Great experience. We'll definitely be back.

We ordered the hot lobster roll. We were disappointed. It looked fried. Not like i am used to having it. Steamed with butter on the side . This was dry. The roll was good.

The atmosphere right on the water is amazing, and the live music was on point. I knew every song the guy was playing and made sure to give him a tip on my way out because he definitely made the night in my opinion. The service was decent. My mussels were ok, pretty sure they were frozen which is always a disappointment being so close to the ocean. My friends salmon wrap satisfied her.

the place is beautiful, the food is not special, you can get the same fried fast food anywhere. Place attract visitors with the view. if it were not the beautiful location, costumers would not come again, the price of food does not match the quality. My husband like this place , he doesn't care about food quality, he eats fast food.

Service was fantastic! Great ambience! Food tasted excellent. Portion of fish was a small sliver of halibut. Other restaurants in Rhode Island are doing the same thing. Fish portions should be a whole filet or in this case a halibut steak. Leo

My group of 8 yogi's who do lunch every Friday recently tried Blu. We were searching for a good lobster roll before summer's end. Well we found it, and it was delicious! So good, in fact, we came back the very next week for more. Service is very friendly and efficient, and the food above par. The lobster rolls are full of big chunks and the brioche roll is irresistible! My only small disappointment was my fries were rather undercooked and limp. Key lime pie for dessert was also divine. Don't miss out this season if you can make it in before they close for the winter.

Blu .....went for a special birthday celebration. I found the outside table dirty, actually some food debris on the pedistal. Ordered a Mojito , the pride of the bartender was just not there, the limes were obviously old (browning ) and it was just not a good drink ($14.00). Captains Daughter $9.50,diet pepsi $4.25,Gray Whale $12.00 , a slice of peanut butter pie (could have come with a candle in it and free) $12.00 Lobster roll with a tablespoon of rice just carelessly put on the plate $30.00 and a Main Street Wrap...a wrap $23.00.....Expensive I don't mind if there is pride in the establishment...this place is jut "here you go take it or leave it" Underwhelming at best.

Started with parking, don't care for valet but just went with it everything went fine. Reserved table outside, sat under tent by the water nice view. Spacious in between tables, everything was clean. Placed drink order had to wait a little but nothing crazy (drinks had too much ice), app order came out decent time, loved the chowder and wings. Took a while to get the food order in the place was starting to get busy. I think the wait was worth it, everything had good flavor and was hot and enjoyed the potion size not huge but not smallI. Didn't care for the help that delivered the food, handed it over the tables and didn't set it down for you just barked out the meal and you would raise your hand (maybe better training would bring that up a level) but we had 1 waiter handling a good amount of tables ( maybe a little too many). Waiter stopped over asked about the meals and refreshed drinks but he forgot to keep up with the water, finally found a water person and flagged them down. Waiter came to check on us sporadically but was running around, still did a better than average job. Tends to work out because we sat there long enough for the band to setup and start playing. Got a couple more drinks, coffee and the check with no rush to have us leave. Good thing because the band was great! Tight quarters for dancing around tables due to the amount of people just watching the band, glad I didn't have one of the tables in that area but good show. Left after the bands first break when it started to turn into a club atmosphere. Took a walk to the fire area, very relaxed and nice spot to wind down and breath in the night sea air, see the boats and feel a warm fire. Picked up the car from valet quickly and see ya. Overall was a nice visit, would go back. Reservations are key at this spot. Thanks and hope this is helpful.
