We stopped in yesterday for breakfast. The waitress was very efficient and pleasant. We ordered florentine eggs Benedict with home fries and corn beef hash eggs Benedict. The food came out piping hot. Both dishes were delicious and very filling. The corn beef was not that canned stuff some places use. Big pieces of corn beef and the home fries were very tasty too. We will definitely be back to try some of the other items on the menu!

After reading reviews, maybe we went on an off day. The omelette was thinner than paper with barely cooked vegetables and no taste. I had gotten the omelette with home fries and toast and I did not want the home fries and toast so I had asked if they could substitute the corn beef hash instead and that I would pay the charge. Well, the upcharge was an additional $10.50 which is absolutely ridiculous So I stuck with the home fries and toast. The potato were hard, not cooked and very bland. The waitress was very attentive, and the atmosphere was cute, small and basic. We did not leave satisfied. Perhaps we will give Ed another try in the future.

Had brunch on Sunday 5/21. Quaint local place with attentive servers. All of the food was excellent... Eggs Benedict, meat omelet, french toast. Also really good coffee.

Excellent food, quality service in a clean comfortable environment. My friend and I didn't realize the closed at noon and everyone was so kind and patient allowing us to stay and chat. Ed's Roost is an exceptional gem. I highly recommend.

Just went back here after a long time. Their breakfast was great! My normal spot is skimping on portion size. This place does not. Lots of food. Great quality and cooked to perfection. The corned beef hash is great and the standard breakfast was spot on.
