Great Sushi at at fair price with great service. Located right next to the Updike room, EG hotel. Eat at Raku and then walk next door for the best local music on Main Street. Also across from man street coffee for great martinis and social gathering. The hibachi iand the sushi rolls are great, and the sushi rolls are very reasonably priced. Bar is good size with a couple of TVs. They also have take out. Perfect location 👍

Raku Sakura salad is to die for!!! Drinks are on point!!! Never a bad meal here..
I have been driving to 3 different Asian food restaurants to get takeout so we have the favorites of each dish. We have now found 1 restaurant to get the best of everything. We had sushi, traditional Chinese and Hibachi meals. Everything was great quality and prepared perfectly. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for Asian cuisine. And I recommend not ordering ahead but getting a drink at the bar while you wait. Drinks are well made and well priced.
Menu has a wide variety of Asian foods, and (surprisingly) all are wonderful; highlights: flaming scorpion bowl cocktail for 2, sushi is fresh, steak hibachi is cooked med rare, and gyoza is delicate but crispy. (Mongolian beef is very onion-y.)
There’s a large bar with fun lighting and tv’s (but they’re not in your face), and lots of booth seating.
Staff is very friendly and remembers us. We love coming here for a relaxed delicious meal, and highly recommend it!

The favorite sushi spot for myself and my SO, Raku Sakura always delivers delicious, quality sushi, along with excellent service, in a comfortable and pleasantly aesthetic dining area. Absolutely recommend, appreciation for all the staff at Raku, you all do fantastic job!

The only reason that this establishment is getting one star is for the fact that the person who is responsible for the building and the permitting parking that is specific to the restaurant, has the ability to call a tow on people without verifying they are customers. He decided to wait all of 5-10 minutes to call a tow for the vehicle I came in. I parked in their designated lot, went to a shop a few doors down because of how early it was, came in and ate. By time i left, the car was gone. I was able to (after great effort) get in touch with this man who has access to the cameras and he was so unapologetically rude and refused to be accommodating to the situation he caused. He omitted the fact it was him when directly spoken to, and omitted to his access of cameras when I was asking sincerely for assistance to make sure the car wasn't stolen. Only when I called the local police department to get answers while waiting for the tow company to call back and confirm did he come to talk and check I wasn't lying. upon finding out that I in-fact was a customer, he was no help, made excuses and handed me the same info i used for the tow and said it wasn't his problem. I also asked the restaurant at first for the info to contact and both numbers that belonged to this man were disconnected so they don't even have access to communicate which is in incredibly poor taste for running a business agreement. 150 later plus what i paid for the food and hours of aggravation and stress, I was able to get my car but this is a situation that should be known and warned to patrons at this place. If you do not have immediate entry, you will lose time, money and energy
