Tavern in The Square

The whipped feta app was absolutely delicious. The cherry compote really set it apart from the other apps. The bowls we ordered were amazing.

Food was great, service not so much. Waitress was clueless to the basic needs of a toddler and family.

We ordered nachos and fried pickles as an appetizer. Both were very good served warm and there were plenty for our party of 4. The salads and burger were all large portions and cooked perfectly. The quality, presentation and taste were more than expected. Our server was attentive, and timed everything perfectly. He had several tables but checked on us often.

We order simple items the steak hand held which wasn't worth it and the mushroom pizza. We received the classic pizza so had to wait for our original order then we had to ask for side plates. It wasn't busy so there wasn't any excuse for getting the meal incorrect. The wait staff were standing around versus checking on their customers.

As always a fun experience. The pretzels are a must get each time. We did seriously consider their chip appetizer. Another must get is their mashed potatoes, something you would normally not get when you are out. I had an app and a side for dinner and it was brought out at the same time. Do know that getting a to go box is not a bad thing since the portions leave enough for lunch the next day. Ask for the semi outside seating, as it is nice even though you are in the middle of a busy plaza.

We chose Tavern in the Square to celebrate our grandson's birthday. When our server found out it was his birthday, she suggested he order the birthday dessert, which was complimentary. Overall, another great experience at Tavern in the Square!

Great food and service. I love their brunch menu. The blueberry maple pancakes are incredible.

Hannah was such a great server - she really made our son's birthday dinner special and we are so grateful for that! Also the new dumplings on the specials list were so incredibly delicious - can't wait to go back for more!!!

Our group of 8 ladies were treated very well! We had to ask for a larger table as a couple of extras showed up and they accommodated us with minimal fuss. Our waitress was efficient and unflappable with all our varied requests, the food arrived in a timely manner, and everyone raved about their choices. The home made chips were another big hit! I enjoyed a delicious special mock tail as well. Lastly, as we were celebrating 6 May birthdays, we were treated to wonderful chocolate cake with whipped cream that we shared. Perfect ending to a great gathering. We yoga gals will definitely be back. The fish tacos were especially loved, with the black bean side. And a special thanks to our waitress...Kayla? Not sure, sorry.

We went to Tavern on the Square for Mother's Day dinner. We had a reservation and only had to wait a few minutes for our table (we were early). The waiter came right over and took our drink order, he was very pleasant. Dinner came and I had to send my steak tips back because 4 out of 6 were raw. The plate came back in less than 5 minutes and the pieces I had cute open previously were cooked but the remaining 3 bigger pieces were raw. The manager came and offered a new meal, something for take out, anything to make it right, and that was very much appreciated. It was taken off the bill which we didn't expect, but again, appreciated. We had an overall good experience but we've had better. It was a little disappointing since it was a special day.

It was a very enjoyable brunch for Mother's Day! There was a special menu and the regular one to choose from. Ambiance and service were great! There was a gift for the mom's as you departed. It was a true celebration!

Nice family brunch. Good selection for the kids, too. Very friendly service. Recommend highly, especially for families.

Always an excellent meal. One of our favorites. Very accommodating to Gluten Free as well.

I love that Tavern celebrated nurses week with a free app for nurses. I totally appreciated it. The servers are always so great as well.
