This was first time coming here and it was excellent!!! Service was a little slow BUT you could tell they were shortstaffed for a Friday night so I had absolutely no problem waiting. I got the Chicken Cordon Bleu with a baked potato, broccoli and clam chowder and it was fantastic!!! Will definitely be going back!
Open seating so you can choose where to sit. Extensive menu, different options. The sliced roast beef was pretty tender but not very flavorful on the French dip. The horseradish sauce helped it along. The fries were OK but not my favorite. The dill pickle was awesome. The service was average and the knotty pine walls were nostalgic. There was handicapped parking and an easy entrance.
I highly recommend Homestead Restaurant, On April 26th we had a celebration of life for my father in law at the Veterans Cemetery . I was scrambling to find a place that could accommodate 25 people or more in such a short time . I spoke with the owner Jorge just a few days prior to the service & he was very accommodating & reassuring that everything would work out and be okay . We arrived almost 30 minutes early and Jorge & Paula immediately began seating everyone....
