We decided to try the famous Italian Stallion calzone, prompting me to write this review. Priced at $29, it left me evaluating its worth. The Italian grinder within the pizza was satisfactory, though the cold cuts seemed to be of mid-range quality (not up to par with brands like Boar's Head, which I would consider high-end). At a price point of $15, it might have been acceptable, but at $29, everything felt a notch lower in quality. For the same amount, I'd opt for NK Chicago Pizza in North Kingstown or Pasquale’s in South Kingstown, both offering superior pizzas for the same price.

This is a takeout review. All food is eaten promptly in the vehicle. I ordered a meatball Samzone, a pepperoni pizza, and an Italian Stallion. The meatball samzone was excellent, great crust and very nice flavor. The pizza was very good, a nicely done crust and nice sauce. The Italian Stallion was for my neighbor and he and his two kids loved it. It was an hour old when they got it and they still thoroughly enjoyed it. And the owner Jen, was a really nice person and certainly added to the experience. On a scale from 0-10, I would rate this 9.1.

The Italian Stallion was delicious! The crust was crunchy and the pepperoni was perfectly cooked. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone!

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. The people who work here take pride in their customers and the food they create. The Italian Stallion was so good with spicy pepperoni on the top, along with the cheeseburger grinder we had. The bread was super fresh and crunchy. We will definitely be coming back.

I tried the Italian Stallion. Small is a great size and it was tasty! I liked the oil and vinegar dressing they give you on side. Dough was excellent. I also had a small cheese pizza and loved it. Perfect amount of cheese and sauce ratio, nice crunch! Will be back.

This place is a little gem. The wait is a bit long, but it's well worth it. The Italian Stallion was so good. What a great idea they came up with a Calzone and pizza in one. I also ordered a small Meatzza Pizza the bacon on this pizza is to die for. Yum Yum and more Yum.

Staff doesn’t wear gloves, staff uses dirty towels to touch Italian stallions. The owner will yell at you if you don’t do it his way. Instead they have you dip your hands in bleach and soap water and then dry it with a dirty towel used to clean counters. The owner steals tips from staff. The owner is always angry and 11 people quit in 6 months he can’t keep help because he’s an authoritarian control freak that says to do things one way one day and another thing the next day all staff I’ve talked to there says that he gets on their nerves. Owners talk badly about staff around staff. Pierre is always anggry 24/7. Says he treats his staff like family and empasissis that. He also told me randomly that when he sleeps at night he has another wife in another dimension. He called me babe and love and sweetheart. It’s totally unprofessional, and disgusting. Has 14 year old girls working in the front around grown as drunk men. Today there was a 6 year old sitting at the bar which is illegal. I honestly could go on about what a terrible place this is to work it’s not worth your mental health. He says it’s me but I’ve never been treated as badly by any other boss or teacher. This is the first job I’ve quit due to a boss being so aggressive and I’ve had aggressive bosses in the past none like this this place needs Gordon Ramsey because it’s a kitchen nightmare. Who preps food on Friday and Saturday rushes, prep is done during the week, I can’t believe this place is real this dude is more nuts than me

The pizza here stands out with its unique dough - light, flaky, and crunchewy. Worth trying is the Italian Stallion, an inventive take on an Italian sub wrapped in a calzone (with that same flakey dough) and topped with pepperoni. It’s an unexpected combo that pleasantly surprises.Service is quick with counter ordering and payment, though a second register during busy times would help ease the lines. There's a self-service water station that was convenient, and also a handful of games available to use while you wait for your food. For a smooth exit after your meal, park around the corner in the ample lot.Definitely worth a visit, will return to try some of the other unique sandwiches.Parking: For a smooth exit after your meal, park around the corner in the ample lot. There are spaces right in front also, but if the main road is busy, might require a 5-point turn to get out.
