I absolutely love this restaurant, overall the food, drinks, atmosphere, and service are always great. I had one experience though that left me feeling like I didn’t want to come back and be served by a couple employees. I was waiting for a friend to join me and ordered a drink at the bar. The young man was very nice and even the girl at first. So pleasant and smiley until I ordered. I usually get breaded chicken like a cutlet style which Is what I asked for but there must have been a misunderstanding and it almost looked like popcorn chicken, right when it was brought out to me, I kinda looked at it, and I had told the girl this isn’t what I asked for.. her and the guy did not say anything to me. They honestly just gave me blank stares and before I could even finish what I was saying, she turned around and brought it back to the kitchen. Neither of them said we’ll fix that for you and I didn’t expect an apology but I just expected something to be said it’s not like I was mad about it.. I thought I was very nice about it and I even said like if nothing could be done it’s fine I’ll take it but that’s not really what I asked for.. the rest of the evening I definitely felt like I inconvenienced them big time. When I first sat down, it was not busy at all, but then things started to pick up, once we got the bill, I left a generous tip and I wrote a little note just saying thank you and to be safe because there was an upcoming storm the next day and I always like to write something on my receipts because when I was in service and I got that it meant a lot. I also wanted them to know that I was very thankful for their service. I saw the girl grab the book with the slip and walk over to the computer, now this might have been a coincidence, but right after that, she took a slip and leaned over to the guy and it almost looked like she showed him what was written and they laughed now it could’ve been a different slip I’m not sure, but it was right after she picked up mine. After seeing this and kind of processing the way that they reacted about chicken, it made me feeling awful and like I didn’t even wanna be there anymore and that I didn’t wanna go back. I was a paying customer that left a generous tip and also it’s not like they came over and said thank you so much to me for the tip or for the service they just came over to me and my friend and said do you guys need anything else almost like they were ready to ask us to leave because yes, I do get that It was busy and more people were kind of looking for bar seats and we were wrapping up… maybe they had a bad day or someone was rude prior but I just felt like it was an unnecessary reaction. I also felt like the service from them had changed after I asked for the correct chicken. They weren’t as nice and bubbly with me which really stinks because I genuinely was not mad and I can understand it was a simple mixup.. I’ve been there before it happens! I really hope if and when I go back, this does not happen again because it is truly one of my favorite restaurants and everyone else has provided outstanding service!

As always, the food was excellent and the service was outstanding. I had the stuffed sole special and my wife had the Mediterranean swordfish special. My wife is hoping that the Mediterranean swordfish will be added to the regular menu by the next time we dine here. Always an enjoyable experience at Assados!

Assado's is always a family favorite. The food is delicious, the service is always wonderful, and the restaurant looks beautiful all decorated for Christmas.
Assados is one of the best restaurants I have been to. There were 4 of us who went for a mid afternoon dinner. All of our meals were delicious and we had no complaints. The kale soup was outstanding. I had chicken breast with chourico and Portuguese cheese which I highly recommend. I give them 10 stars.

This was our fourth time eating at Assados and we have looked forward to each time we returned. The menu and specials are wide ranging. Good sized plates and very good quality. Service is attentive and fast.

Went early and had a cocktail at the bar. Bartender was fun and made great drinks. Upon entering the dining room our waitress Sue was outstanding. We had 2 different dinner entrees and both were superb.
