We had a retirement party today. I've been at Assados twice before, with friends, and I recommended the place to my family for my niece's birthday. The food was very good, the service excellent. Thank you, Kennedy! The owner always comes out to greet his guest and make sure everything is what is expected!

we have had the pleasure of eating at Assados many times since they opened. everytime the service and food has been excellent. Our last visit was my wife and Is 16th anniversary. The owners had a table set up with a Happy Anniversary sign on it. For an appetizer we had the muscles. They tasted fresh and were cooked to perfection. For drinks we had espresso Martinis(i never had one before) i informed the waiter that i was lactose intolerant) He made sure that there was no dairy in the drinks or on my plate. For the main course I ordered the Prime Rib "Assados" style which meant they seared the outside. it was probably one of the best prime ribs I've ever had. My wife had the fish and chips. She said the portions where perfect and the fish and batter was excellent. We unfortunately did not have any room for dessert but I have heard they carry some amazing desserts. We will definitely be back 5/5 highly recommend

First, the bartender couldn't make an Old Fashioned. It was basically juice which is very bizarre. I ended up having to order bourbon on the rocks. Our waitress was nowhere to be found as we sat without a beverage for quite sometime. I ordered a steak and was served a totally different dish than what I ordered. Once I got my steak it was bland, over cooked, and tough ($32 mind you) The chicken St Jorge was so so, it at least had flavor. This was my second time here and I will not be back again.

Our new favorite place to eat. Great atmosphere, warm staff and very good variety of food. The Portuguese food is on point and certainly at the level that Portuguese people proudly bring family and friends for a modern taste of home.
Dietary restrictions: Accommodated my wife’s several food allergies diligently.
Parking: Plenty of parking front, side and back.

Our waitress was very friendly and on key . She knew when to come back to a table and Check on her customers. The food was absolutely delicious. The fried clams and the calamari were to die for. Great restaurant to go to.

Absolutely one of THE best restaurants in RI! We’ve been several times and each taste of a different dish has been better than the previous!! Kennedy has been our waitress on several occasions and exceeds a diner’s expectations!
Had a table for 8 last night. Service was great, very friendly. We had a couple drinks at the outside bar before our table was ready, drinks were great. Food came out fast and it was very very good. Highly recommend
