I purchased (1) pkg. of Calise (Since 1908) POTATO BULKIE (Pre-sliced, but they are not!) Rolls - UPC No. 75199 01050. These rolls have NO TASTE @ all & are too soft for anything but light, cold, deli meats. They are super squishy (like trying to cut a sponge) & super duper soft, so much so that HOT grilled Hamburgers & chicken patties are out of the question. They are also NOT pre-sliced!! They are semi-Pre sliced in (3) places but are also so squishy there is notthing to cut! The rolls just disintegrate when hot hamburgers is deposited on the bottom roll. It seems to me, that USA corporate roll & bread recipes have changed considerably since (1908): cheaper ingredients, waaaaaaaaaaay too much white sugar is included in many bread recipes & these corporate type roll recipes no longer cut the mustard. For me, I need a Bulkie ROLl that will stand up to a grilled chicken sandwich wihout acting like a sponge in both cutting & eating. This pkg. of POTATOE ROLLS is NOT that product!

Great products, terrible service for Wholesale Customers. Place orders and don't expect them to show up. Multiple times they dont deliver placed orders on weekends with no notifications from sales person with a reason. No attempts to make things right. Or another selling point is leaving your bread in the driveway in no box so that seagulls eat the bread.

I love your product but this is the second time I bought the rolls and within 2 days they had mold. I just wanted to bring it to your attention. I still love your product but maybe just have the other stores check dates. I know I did not check the date. But I was disappointed they molded so wuick

Apparently their drivers see stop signs as nothing more than a suggestion. Just watched one of their delivery drivers not even slow down for a stop sign

They’ve recently started slicing the rolls on the top like a hot dog bun. Makes it difficult to put together a grinder. Hope they go back to slicing in half.
Drivers. Easy to find. Docks around back. Slide up before you arrive. 1 rec door on end by stairs. Tight with a sleeper. Be careful.

I purchased a package of Calise Split Sub Rolls @ my local Big Y on Sunday August 7, 2022. The tag on the bread stated purchase by Aug 10. Tuesday August 9th, while making a sandwich, I noticed mold on the bread.I don't like to waste food; nothing more frustrating than having to throw it away because it's bad, BEFORE the sell by date.Never purchasing their products again.

I bought there rolls on Monday.. today is Thursday they have green mold I cannot use them for my dinner now. This is the second time this has happened in less then a week.

This bread is fresh (bought 7/6; exp. 7/15) and delicious, however, don't attempt to make a sandwich of any kind with it. These looked like Sub rolls in the bag and felt soft at the store, but even a simple hot dog with relish/mustard and nothing else (forget about an actual sub like the picture on the front of the bag!) completely falls apart with every bite. This bread has zero structural integrity, and the rolls are precut extremely unevenly. In addition, the rolls deflated after 1 day on the counter double bagged (there's too much moisture in these; don't press on them as they don't bounce back!). At $4.39 per 6 rolls, there are much better grinder rolls at the store, and I won't be buying these again.

On delivery days at 3- 3:30 a.m. there's a truck that delivers to cowesa Pizza when he backs up it beeps 13 times wakes up everyone around that area enough is enough do you think you can shut off the beeping noise at that time of the morning yhere is nobody around at that time! Be more respectful Pkease!
