To update - this place does not seem to care in correcting issues which is clear by their replies to bad reviews and no effort in resolving one’s after reaching out across multiple channels, would not be willing to give them another shot based on this.
As I’ve tried emailing twice with no reply but it seems they respond to Google reviews asap maybe this will work, I stopped in Friday for the first time after doing errands in the early evening after trying two other places that were packed, to my relief it was quiet and comfy and pretty inside. Was promptly greeted and sat at the bar. Service started off nice however I’m fairly certain I was being whispered about by employees off to the side after speaking to me. Started off with a drink and food suggestions from the bartender and after this it all went down hill. 2 hours for me to dine alone, food was fine enough but not great and after I got my starter and asked for a menu for a second drink it took forever to get any attention to order another and was never asked if i needed or wanted anything else? I would have ordered dessert or another drink if ever asked but at that point I wanted to leave as it was now late and it took about 40 mins from entree and drink drop for attention to pay my check even with an empty glass and card out and it wasn’t busy. I stupidly didn’t look at the check beyond a glance, just paid bc I wanted to leave, however when driving home realized my bill seemed too high, so when I arrived home I did the math and was either overcharged or gratuity was included for 1 person and i wasn’t told? I’ve emailed twice to request a receipt copy with no reply.

We dined at Nathaniel's on Friday 11/8. We had a variety of small plates that were actually very good- tzatziki with grilled pita, falafel croquettes, burrata salad on arugula and mofongo (we tried it out of curiosity but neither of us liked the taste or the texture) and shared a flan for dessert. With 2 drinks each and those food items, the bill was $160 (with tip)-- a bit on the high end but we felt it was worth it and decided to come back to try the entree menu which looked yummy. HOWEVER, both myself and my boyfriend got violently ill that night resulting in 6 hrs of vomiting and diarrhea. I have never had food poisoning before and hope to never experience it again.
I called the restaurant to let them know so that they could figure out what the problem was and correct it before other people got sick. I was assured they would look into it and would call me back that evening...well that was days ago and I have not heard a peep.
Not impressed with their lack of concern regarding the fact that patrons of their establishment got violently ill after dining there.
So, at least for us, we will not be going back there despite our initial good impressions.

Our server Emmanuel was very pleasant and provided great service. Food was fantastic and the atmosphere is so unique, very well done. He even gave us a brochure regarding their band nights!

Six of my friends and I were celebrating two birthdays on a Friday night (last week). I was excited to try the Mediterranean-Latino vibe and food. This review is both mine and what I heard from the girls… The margaritas were great! They had a Halloween themed drink menu and the Ghost Margarita had an ‘eyeball’ made of lychee fruit with a blueberry- very clever and delicious (imagine my surprise when I returned from the restroom and my drink had been cleared before I was finished with mine). My friend happily offered me her eyeball- Lol. The shots of White Tea were a pleasant surprise. Thank you! The mussels had a tasty sauce we liked but they were difficult to open. Once opened, there wasn’t much to them- a bit disappointing. The sea-bass with quinoa and vegetables was sooooo delish! I loved it! One of my friends ordered the same dish and thought the fish was too salty. I like salt and it didn’t reach my “too salty” meter. I found the dish was light yet filling. The chicken and potatoes, steak (without the sauce), and octopus were also reportedly good. If you like a hearty portion- the octopus is small, seemed like it could be an appetizer. It’s plenty though if you desire something lighter for dinner. The stuffed salmon looked great, (all the food did) but the salmon was “dry.” The complementary pumpkin soup was absolutely delicious- we all enjoyed that. The service was variable, always friendly, at times excellent- I could see the waitstaff was trying. When the live entertainment (solo singer sounded great; their songs were bit sleepy for a Friday night ) wrapped up for the night; the waitstaff indulged us for a bit with our choice of music. Plenty of room to celebrate with a big party of friends and family. We sung, danced, laughed and reminisced when 80s hits came on. Overall, I’d return here and I believe my friends would too. We had a great time.

The restaurant is colorful and clean, and our food was excellent. Seating is spacious and comfortable. We tried the lobster linguine and chicken milanese—both great. The staff were all very kind and sent us home with extra leftovers for because our young daughter loved their pumpkin bisque. There was live music which was a nice surprise.
