A Little Compton Gem!
Perfect location for where we were going. Stone House inn very pretty and the rooms are spacious, clean and very nice. We only stayed for one night but everything was great. Staff was very nice and the place is quiet and has a very very pretty view.
In the morning they serve coffee, tea, milk, juice, bagels, toast, cereal, oatmeal, mixed fruit, hard boiled eggs and some pastries. We would definitely go back
This is an amazing Inn! Besides the beautiful architecture, incredible setting and ambiance, I would rate the staff 10 stars. So kind, helpful, generous and caring. The restaurant is amazing - best short ribs and burgers around. Super bartender and waitresses. The breakfast was simple and perfect, with a very good hostess. When you have a general manager as good as Teresa, the entire team becomes exceptional. I highly recommend visiting. My wife and I both had very positive and uplifting experiences. We will be back.
My husband and I had an incredible stay at the Stonehouse Inn this weekend for my husbands birthday. It was truly the best hotel experience I’ve ever had, surpassing even my stays in Italy and Switzerland. The service was impeccable, with staff that went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The accommodations were equally impressive, offering a cozy yet high-class ambiance. The food was a perfect 10 out of 10, and the service matched that excellence. I highly recommend staying here and splurging on a room in the barn—it’s well worth it! Highly recommended for anyone seeking a luxurious getaway.
It’s a beautiful building with amazing flowers but I give 3 stars. Here is why:
1. Sliding Doors to the bathroom were not possible to close
2. Half curtains on each window in the bedroom didn’t cover the light that was coming at night. And they were not black out so it was not nice to sleep at night
3. Continental breakfast first make any sense. I would rather pay for scrambled egg but will eat in the hotel that have to go in search of breakfast. Neared nice place was 10 minutes away driving

We went for my husband's birthday. It is in a middle of nowhere. By the time we got there. Everything was closed. Receptionist could not tell us anything about an area. She could not even open a room with a key. Room had 20 windows. You are pretty much sleeping outside. Very disappointed

Overall we loved our stay at the Stone House Inn and can’t wait to return! The staff was super helpful in resolving a mix-up with our booking and went the extra mile to make sure we had a great stay.Really cool property, secluded and quiet grounds/beach, and some beautiful rooms - we loved the Plover room. Fireplace, huge tub, waterfront view… Exactly the restful getaway we needed! We’re excited to return in the fall to check out the seasonal on-site restaurant. Guests can order charcuterie boards and other snacks year round and their breakfast is straightforward but quite good (pleasantly surprised by the bagels!)Thanks for welcoming us and we can’t wait to visit again!

Noteworthy details: Beautiful rooms .great beaches.the food is excellent and the staff is great.5 starsEd white.
Wonderful! We were greeted warmly and shown around the Inn, which is beautiful. Our room was the size of an apartment with a large French free-standing tub perfect for relaxing before bed. It was rainy, so we walked the beach a bit, hung out in the reading room, and had the best dinner in the Inn. The staff was more than helpful and welcoming to any needs we had. I was impressed by how G.M. Teresa greeted and spoke to everyone, making it feel like staying at a good friend's house. We will stay at the Stone House Inn again and recommend it to everyone.

Great spot for a girls weekend! Gorgeous location, beautiful sunset & pleasant staff!Grab a bottle of wine and head out to the fire pit! Very cool restaurant downstairs in the old speakeasy. Take a walk or grab bikes and head to the beaches.

Just give the weather.. Being a site to advertise hotels , lodging ECT not associated with weather.
Just returned from a quick getaway and couldn't be more pleased. The room was spacious and had a fireplace as well as a huge bathtub and the view was amazing! Even though it is winter, we took several walks to the beach including sunrise and sunset, which was beautiful. The continental breakfast was great with lots of fruit and the room where we ate was bright and sunny. They had a fire at night outside as well as had a couple fireplaces lit inside....very cozy. The staff was amazing and beyond accomodating. If you are looking for a place to just go and unwind a bit, this is it!

The house was absolutely beautiful. We stayed in the barn top floor with a view of the pond and ocean. The bar and restaurant were not open a little disappointed as we did not want to leave the grounds at all. There was a sweet little restaurant about 15 min away at the the four corners. There are 2 beaches definitely take the bikes. One is rock and one is sand. The road to the beach is breath taking with gorgeous flowers and plants and insane homes. Perfect place for a quite get away with your partner.Rooms: Giant soaking tub, view of the ocean. Comfy bed. We had a suite with a table counter fridge and coffee maker. So we brought lots of snacks. The main house was unbelievable. Everything is clean. Staff we friendly and helpful.

Other than the location, there is nothing good about this place; had medical emergency that required EMT to come out, not so much as a phone call to find out if ok. No AC, No elevator, No room service or maid service. Never again.
