Food was terrible! Short ribs taco was all fat and cold,fish and chips were burnt I was in the men’s room and one of the kids that worked in the kitchen didn’t wash his hands after urinating😡 never again! The only good thing was the waitress was awesome! I think her name was Nia.

What a fantastic dining experience my family had tonight. Cocktails were superb, my rare tuna tacos were not only the best tacos I’ve ever eaten, it was one of the top 3 meals I’ve ever had. My wife had the rib eye melt which was equally as delicious, and my daughter loved her Mac & cheese and green beans. I started with white chowder which is typically good no matter where you get it in New England, but there’s was excellent. As good as the food was, it was the service from Alexa that made it so memorable. She was friendly and accommodating like any server would or should be, but she went beyond that making us feel like friends and family. Extra kudos to her for being a superstar. All in all, this was a 10+ dining experience even though the best is 5. Back 40 and their sister restaurants are all the best that RI has to offer.

Came from VT, and I have to say; this place was awesome! We had the friendliest waitress(Charlotte) and the bill was SO reasonable. The portions were large and the quality was amazing! The pulled pork nachos slaaaappppped and the spicy marg was chefs kiss 🤌🏻 1000% recommend.

Dear Management: why are you not addressing the DEFENDINGLY LOUD environment in your restaurant. I will never go back and while we were there, a young couple sat down and then immediately left because of the noise. Please note, this was 1pm on a Sunday. You need more sound absorbing baffling, panels on the wall, whatever. Go through these reviews, others have said that the sound is horrendous. Listen!

We went to Back40 tonight with another family and we were lucky enough to have Bella as our server. We frequent Back40 but having Bella made the experience even more enjoyable this evening.
