Been coming here for a long time if I wanted breakfast takeout. The prices were always good and the wait service was great. This last time I went (it wasnt as busy as other times) we ordered takeout (we live 3 min away). The food was nice and hot but they forgot to add onions to our home fries. No biggie, so we called and they were sure tiny onion bits were added. Normally, any other business would say "No problem, just bring it back and we can swap it out - so you dont return home to a cold breakfast" Since the price jumped from 8 to 11 for the special, I figured they would do that. Instead they dumped hot onions on the home fries and I got home to cold bacon, eggs and my dogs were very pleased because I was pretty bummed out they did that when they didnt seem the type of place known to do that. This is my very first poor review I ever did...I feel bad doing this but I really had my heart set on the breakfast nook and never expected this.

It is a charming breakfast place that also features lunch. It is a cozy spot frequented by regulars. Nothing fancy, just good food in a pleasant atmosphere.

Got there at 9am. 2of us had muffin and coffee. One had light blast of bacon egg toast and coffee. Service very good price average. I think we got there between rush time for breakfast and lunch. All being retired or self employed helped. Ps parking easy when we were there. Will return no problem. Pleasant time!
