D'Angelo Grilled Sandwiches

Done with d Angelos in NK. Everytime I go in there even if it's not at a busy hour they give me the same greeting. Sorry it will be a little bit before we take your order. Then you look around and see six other miserable people waiting forever for their orders. Who wants to wait to order when you see that. I left, went to the new Jersey Mikes down the street and got served and a sandwich in my hands right away. No wonder why all the d Angelos are closing in Rhode Island.

Went there last night 6/9 I was a little disappointed that I did have to wait to place my order for a nasty customer in front of me with a bad attitude who took her time harassing the staff. However, once I was able to get to the front counter and place my order I was delighted by the friendly enthusiastic employee Robert who helped me figure out what I wanted to eat. The manger was also very professional and friendly. He also was complimenting and encouraging the other two staff members as I was walking out. little things just make me feel happier giving my money to some places over others. See you guys next week!

Went here for a take out dinner on 6/7 at about 6:15 PM. We went to the counter to place our orders and were told that it would be 10 minutes before the order was taken because they were trying to catch up. The counter was littered with planogram papers and inventory sheets and one of the worker’s hat! None of the three guys working were wearing a hat and one was “the manager”. The cooking area was dirty and not kept up with. At one point a grill spatula fell on the floor and instead of picking it up and putting it in the back to be washed, it was put back on the counter in front of the grill! I watched the whole time they were making our sandwiches to make sure the dirty spatula wasn’t used. 🤢

The manager was awful and shouldn’t be in charge of people. One of the kids working there was either on the spectrum or REALLY nervous. He was trying hard, but the manger kept on him. At one point the poor kid was trying to take a phone order and the manager ripped the phone out of his hands and finished the order. Not a good look in front of customers (and we weren’t the only ones). Food ended up being ok but it was not a pleasant experience and we have been there many times before. If we hadn’t already paid, we would have left. Between the nasty food prep area and the treatment of the staff we were turned off by all of it. We won’t be back unless it improves significantly.

Bathroom was disgusting, when we told someone about it we felt ignored. The environment was odd, swearing and 2 employees joking about quitting. They were nice and the food was good but I remember leaving saying I’ll never be back just because I felt like it was dirty.

New to area, and this was the best D’Angelos I have been to, food was good, staff was very nice, and place was clean!! Will definitely go often.

We ( my husband and myself) stopped in around 2:30 Sunday afternoon as I had a BOGO coupon . I ordered a toasted tuna blt, bacon was extra , my husband had a toasted Italian . Used the coupon👍, my husband came out put the sandwiches in the back seat , and the associate came out to get the tuna as the bacon was not put on it .he asked if he could have it and he’d bring it back out but my husband went in to wait ,
I have never had this happen before where the organization takes the first step toward making sure the item was correctly prepared .kudos to this restaurant and this young man who no doubt has a great work ethic.
I wish I knew your name because I would use it.hoping your manager will see this review. Btw the sandwich was delicious and actually toasted!! Thank you again !

Clean place!

The quality is good. But something's always missing! I ordered a bbq bacon cheddar and didn't get any bacon on it. Or I ordered a bbq bacon cheddar with peppers and it didn't come with barbecue sauce

The chef cooking the steak is usually on point but almost every time the order is wrong. I spend a lot of money, I just want the right sandwich

The food is usually fire just make sure the orders get made right and you're golden, the sandwiches are actually so good that I can't quit despite how many bad orders I've gotten. It's like finding the super seasoned chips in a bag that keeps you eating the plain corn ones

Ordered 2 large number 9 subs and had a b1g1 coupon. The deal was fantastic and the subs were prepared great. The associate who worked the counter was very friendly and the subs remained warm for the hour drive home. We were very happy.

Dietary restrictions: You literally select what goes into your sandwiches/salads/bowls so you should be able to mitigate any restrictions

Kid-friendliness: Lots of tasty options for kids.

Wheelchair accessibility: Very easy to get into the store with a wheelchair from the parking lot.
