What a great place!!! The staff were all very friendly even as busy as it was! They were rocking it! The food was amazing, I had the crescent breakfast sandwich was fantastic. I highly recommend Mae's Place to anyone visiting this area!

Outstanding food and exceptional service in a tiny little breakfast cafe. Some of the best hollandaise sauce I have ever eaten. They went out of their way to serve us and even the short wait was totally worth it. Charming staff working hard to run this place will make you feel right at home.

I have always tried a popular breakfast place in Providence which is further aways from my home. After having so many bad experiences with other breakfast place I have decided to try Mae’s Place. We put in an online order and spoke with Jackie. She was so 10/10. We called earlier in the day and asked if we could put an order in, but have it ready at a different time or if we should just call back. She took our order and a couple hours later we got there to pick it up and it was literally hot and ready and had everything correct, EVEN THE EXTRA SAUCES. She’s so nice and has the best personality for the environment there. I’m literally going back again just because of her.

Busy little diner but it was worth the wait! Our server Jackie was amazing! Very attentive and fast during the rush. Food was good. Definitely give it a try for breakfast.

The food may be good but, if you have a baby with you they are not accommodating. We waited for 20 minutes while other parties were seated before us at tables that would have fit a high chair. We had to leave.

It was my first time trying this place this morning, the blonde hostess didn't greet me and my party of two more, so I stood there waiting for the brunette waitress, the waitress did speak but it was to someone behind me so I answered, embarrassing to say the least and then the hostess told me there was a wait and to give my name, totally embarrassed I gave my mother's name to the hostess, then after sitting for a bit I asked the hostess if I could have a menu, and she stated that she would have to ask all persons who were waiting before me if they wanted to see a menu before she could give it to me. So I sat down, and the hostess made no attempt to ask anyone if they wanted a menu and then a new guest entered and the hostess immediately greeted them and explained the wait in such a sweet and caring way, why didn't she do that with me, why did she need to be rude and embarrass me? So myself and my party walked out, no need for our business this morning!!!
