Plum Pt. Bistro Reviews
I had a reservation and upon arrival the young inexperienced staff refused to honor it despite the fact I had the documented reservation. Understandably mistakes happen but instead of correcting this error they simply pushed my reservation 2 hours out. The staff was rude and dismissive. There was no experienced adult management on staff to properly deal with the situation. if I could give less than 1 star I would.
Made reservation. When we walked in we were told everything was behind and we wouldn’t be seated for a while. Talked into sitting outside. Super cold and unbelievably noisy. Waiter came to table after 10 min and ordered drinks (after he brought drink special menu). Bus boy brought bread where we had to ask for silverware and napkins.
Waiter was very well versed in sharing the menu and specials.

Fantastic dinner tonight from the appetizer to the Baccala, great flavor and always the best atmosphere at the bar!

Plum Pt. Bistro is a must-visit restaurant known for its great food and fantastic service. The chef, Rafael, consistently delivers excellent dishes, with a menu featuring a variety of options such as pork pasta and shrimp limoncello fettuccine with peas. The ambience is lovely, creating a welcoming atmosphere for diners. Guests have praised the servers, including Lucas, who is efficient, friendly, and relaxed.
The menu offers a selection of starters, including outstanding wings with real blue cheese and grilled octopus served with a smooth bean purée. The pork chops are large and tasty, while the hamburger remains a popular choice. Fish and chips are also well-received, featuring a fantastic crispy cornmeal crust. Diners have enjoyed the distinctive, flavorful pasta dishes, which are freshly made. However, some diners found the mafaldine pasta with cauliflower to be lacking in flavor, suggesting the pesto as a better option. The cod dish is excellent if pasta is not to your choosing.
Plum Pt. Bistro is committed to providing timely service, and the portions are large, ensuring that guests leave satisfied. While the restaurant can be noisy, making conversation difficult at times, the overall experience remains enjoyable, with great food and a cozy, charming atmosphere. Reservations are recommended since it is a popular place to dine. Many customers look forward to returning to this neighborhood gem in RI, ready to relax and enjoy the experience.
