Arrived early for a 730 reservation and did not get seated until after 815. Checked in with the host multiple times, asked for updates and learned there was no manager on site and admittedly, no one in charge. The food was incredible and our server was wonderful. Will return hoping for a much better experience around reservation and wait time.
Plum Point has been one of my favorite spots for years. I've always enjoyed the food & atmosphere, and even featured them on my espresso martini page (@beanimartinis) because I've genuinely had such great experiences in the past. PPB has a lovely ambience. We received a warm welcome from both the hostess to our server, (Mandy). She was friendly, not pushy, knowledgeable and efficient. We ordered the wings (with real blue cheese) and octopus for starters which were both outstanding. The octopus was grilled yet tender and the bean purée smooth and hummus-like.
