Best pizza in the area by far (including pizza in Newport)! A must try if you enjoy good pizza.
Regular customer here and today the owner and Andrew are understaffed and very stressed and the energy is very bad and also saw my food sitting and got it cold won't be back not worth $30 for bad service and cold food

Our service was outstanding. The pizza and app were very good. Just make sure they are not hosting a music bingo night. It was incredibly loud and obnoxious. If my wife and I hadn't been driving all day, we would have left.
This place seemed unique, and the reviews made us wonder how good this could be. That being said, we need to clarify a few things about other reviews as we provide ours.
1) For starters, the price per pizza ($25 on average) feeds TWO people. Could a single person eat a single pizza themselves? I guess so, but not a nor al sized person.
2) True Italian (e.g. napolese) pizza is NOT smothered in sauce and cheese. These pizzas carry on that tradition, and the use of cheese and sauce is sparse.
3) the meat lovers pizza is amazing. The meats are so well flavoured. You just have to try it. I recommend asking for some olive oil on the side, as the pizza dough tastes great with it.

We stopped here by chance today and I am so glad we did. The drinks were very good, the food was absolutely delicious and the service was top tier. As soon as we walked in we felt welcome and they gave us the best seat in the house (for our 3 kids). Management was impressive. They were making sure that everyone was taken care of, the food was coming out hot and just keeping the overall processes running smoothly. I’ve worked in hospitality my whole life and this place has it down! Great experience! We will be back!

We had an amazing dining experience! The food was incredible, and the interior was lovely. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating to my family. We will definitely be coming back!
We flew in to Providence tonight and before heading to The Cape, we stopped. The pizza and service was over the top!
Excellent Humus plater, the Olive Oil Pita and Dates are exceptional. The pepperoni pizza was very fresh and crispy. The bartender was super friendly and made our experience fun.

This place is a hidden gem, the lentil salad is unreal and huge, the mushroom pizza is our favorite with tons (and not the white cheap type). Several good craft beers on tap if that's your thing (it's mine). Don't understand why it's never busy?! We always go when in town, if this was on the Cape it would be standing room only every night!
Delicious! The wings are my absolute favorite! I also enjoyed the rum punch. Service was fantastic.
Very nice resteraunt,we celebrated my son's birthday and had a great time.

My friends and I had the pleasure of attending the Trivia Night hosted by Lisa, and it was an absolute blast. The pizza at Providence Coal Fired Pizza is truly outstanding - the perfect combination of crispy crust, melted cheese, and flavorful toppings. The drinks were also fantastic and complemented the meal perfectly. The Trivia Night hosted by Lisa was the highlight of our visit. It was both entertaining and engaging, making it a fun activity for groups. We had such a great time laughing and testing our knowledge while enjoying great food and drinks.I would highly recommend making a reservation at Providence Coal Fired Pizza, especially if you're interested in attending Trivia Night. The place gets busy, but the experience is well worth it. Thank you to the staff for the excellent service and to Lisa for hosting such a fun event. I can't wait to go back!

The food was great, the restaurant was nice, and the service was wonderful. But this is 2024, and you're a pizza place that's open at 4pm on a weekend, and you don't have a baby changing table? A clean and safe place to care for a tiny human's bodily functions is not an unreasonable accommodation to ask for. The shift manager apologized sincerely - and said this has been a common complaint for years. YEARS? If the ownership of this place truly don't want families with small children to visit their pizza restaurant, that message was received loud and clear.
