Ashur Café

I brought my father to Ashur Cafe on Mineral Spring Ave for the first time, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and Hussein, the owner, went out of his way to make us feel at home. You can tell he really cares about his customers and the quality of everything in the cafe.

The hookah was excellent — smooth, flavorful, and packed perfectly. It actually exceeded my father’s expectations, and he’s pretty picky when it comes to hookah, so that says a lot!

We also enjoyed their rich, bold espresso and the flaky, sweet baklava — both were delicious. And I’ve got to mention the cheeseburger — juicy, flavorful, and honestly one of the best I’ve had in a while.

Our server Alli was awesome — super friendly, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of the entire time. Between Hussein’s hospitality and Alli’s great service, it felt more like a night out with friends than just a visit to a cafe.

Highly recommend Ashur Cafe for anyone looking for great vibes, amazing hookah, and top-notch service. I’ll definitely be coming back!

One of my favorite place to hang out after a long day at work. Ali is the manager, he and all the staff are very welcoming ,the service is exceptional. The food there is phenomenal and their hookahs are the best in town .Very cozy place. I recommend this place to all of you. Go and ask for Ali!!

Ashur Cafe is by far my FAVORITE place in Providence to eat late night and smoke hookah. Not over priced, amazing customer service and great flavors. If you want a little piece of the Middle East in Providence definitely go to Ashur.

I’m so glad we finally tried Ashur Cafe tonight! The atmosphere was very chill and inviting. The staff were friendly and the service was fast. The food was so delicious and authentic. My wife is 1/2 Middle Eastern and said the flavors remind her of her family’s comfort food. We ordered the hummus, shawarma plate & shawarma rizo. Everything was served fresh, warm, and fast. The shawarma rizo was my personal favorite! It was the perfect chicken shawarma to yellow rice ratio and topped with a drizzle of their rizo sauce (sorta like an aioli is how I’d describe it). And the hummus was *chefs kiss* the best hummus I’ve ever had in my life. I can’t wait to go back and order it again! Great portions. Great prices. Delicious food. Fun atmosphere. Friendly staff. 10/10 would recommend Ashur Cafe to a friend, or stranger!!
