Cool place with excellent desserts…but I got chicken and it was not good at all not sure about other food..not really a hookah lounge even though they do have hookah…overall nice chill place, but not for hookah because there’s kids sometimes and you sit too close to people so you can’t really talk and relax

This is so scam he charge 40$ for service no restaurant do that and the hookah is bad after 20 minutes is burn taste bad food is okay not bad

Got there around 12:30 for lunch and the place was freezing cold. I couldn’t take my coat off and was shivering while waiting for my food. I asked if their heat was broken and they said they just opened and they just turned on the heat. I checked and they had been open since 11 over an hour at that point. The staff seemed like they didn’t care but it came off like they are cheap and makes you think how else they are trying to be cheap. Fries were gross, shawarma was ok but I prefer Damascus grill better. My wife tried the crepes and she said they were great but I don’t see us coming back or at least dining in ever again.

This place is the vibe you're looking for. If you're from the area, I'd describe it as having your own private Thayer Street minus the bad things about Thayer Street. It's got a lovely atmosphere, the most respectful/delightful/attentive staff, and a menu full of food and drinks to satisfy. I stopped in on a rainy Saturday night at 11pm and was greeted warmly. There were 6 other customers inside relaxing and smoking hookah. The place has chill, low light and plenty of tables. The gentleman passed me a menu at the counter and recommended the pistachio waffles, which I ordered + a peach smoothie to go. He brought the smoothie to me while waiting, which was very thoughtful. My to-go container came out shortly after (less than 5 min wait for both). This was what I NEEDED. The smoothie was so real-tasting, like a dozen peaches and some cream were the only ingredients. It was also a very generous size for the price. The waffle was MASSIVE, fluffy, freshly made, and so hot it melted all the in-house drizzles they slathered it with. Each bite is better than the last. They also have crepes, pancakes, and hot meals + other drinks -- I will be back to try them! Thanks, Ashur Cafe, for a chill end to a good rainy Saturday! :)

We went there for lunch @ 1230, we sat and looked over the menu. When the waitress came over to take out we were told the chef would be there in about 20 to 30 minutes. We could order coffee and crepes, if we wanted anything we'd have to wait until they arrived. Very disappointing.

If you ever needs a spot in Rhode Island to hang out and have great food with amazing customer service the only place I recommend is Ashur cafe they have everything you can ever ask for great place to hang out amazing food and decor. Customer service they go above and beyond and super friendly.

The Shawarma was great. Best I have tried New England, I almost lost hope to find a good shawarma place, but this is the place to go. The portions were generous. Garlic sauce and fries were good too. This is a hidden gem.
