First time customer this week and it was very disappointing. I purchased the sole stuffed with crab and it stunk old fish as soon as I opened the container. The whole house smelled like rotten fish and it should not have been sold, but thrown out. It went straight in the garbage (outside) and a waste of money and will not be returning. Fresh fish does not smell!!
Went to Captains today got a dozen cakes, 3fish and chips, and a seafood platter. The fish was disgusting, it must some kind of red fish because it was pink and spongy and horrible tasting. $65 today and $5 tip for garbage . Our family has retired from eating there

When I started going here a few years ago the fish and chips on Friday's were terrific. Now however, they have gone way down hill. So greasy it made me sick to my stomach. You could push your finger in it and a puddle of grease forms. The fish itself was mushy and we also ordered clam cakes that had no clams in it. They must not be stirring the batter to get the clams that settled to the bottom. Such a shame because I always enjoyed it before.
