Eat Korean Bbq & ShabuShabu

We only did hot pot, so can’t speak for the bbq portion. Delicious broth and fresh ingredients. The set up is perfect, better than other places I’ve been. I wasn’t worried about spilling and I wasn’t getting a steam facial from sitting over my brother. The portions were exactly what we needed, not too much but staff was very attentive if you wanted more! Highly highly recommend to anyone!!

Delicious AYCE korean bbq and hotpot! There were many selections even for the most basic package and the service was amazing. Even though the restaurant was full, someone was always checking on us and asking if we would like more food. Will definitely be back again!

I had a really weird and awkward experience here that I wanted to share. I don’t normally post reviews but my friends and I had a very uncomfortable experience here.

We went here for dinner after a sporting event and were wearing matching jerseys we had just gotten for a local team and that was fine and all but one of the girls working there started up a conversation with us about it. It’s fine to be curious but we were all together all day and wanted to just enjoy a nice dinner with each other.

It got weird when the waitress SAT DOWN at our table not once but twice. She wouldn’t leave us alone and continued to ask us personal questions about where we went to school, where we live, where we’re from, etc. We all got the feeling she either was being overly friendly because she wanted a better tip or she was hitting on someone. Granted I was the only girl out with my boyfriend and our 3 other male friends but it was uncomfortable for everyone since she sat down on the other side of my boyfriend and interrupted our dinner for around 40% of it. To top it all off her coworker caught her sitting with us and said they hadn’t realized it was her. She walked away and told us that she hoped to see us again and if not maybe in another life.

Just really uncomfortable and my friends and I will not be going back. Food was fine, sauce bar could be better, and atmosphere was fine until that happened.

i really really really liked this spot. my friends have experienced KBBQ in many more places so i brought them to give me their opinion, and while they said some key Korean essentials were missing, they also really liked it and want to come back to try the hot pot. we almost did the both option but didn't have room for both lol! our server was very attentive constantly refilling our kimchi, salad, and radish sides. the sauce station was fun because i know that's usually used for hotpot but we got to use it for KBBQ. price is quite reasonable for what you get. we got some really high quality meats and enjoyed them. this place is soooo clean and cute, love the gold accents on everything and low how sterile it is. i don't mind sticky places when the food is good but it's nice to have both. this is a great place for big groups too, there is lots of seating and people could pick hot pot or kbbq and sit at separate tables but be near each other. great addition to RI and i will be back!

Fantastic food! Everything was fresh and delicious, quality meats. Service was quick and super polite. Load back atmosphere. Kids enjoyed it too. Will definitely be back!

My family made a last minute dinner reservation for 12 people this past weekend. We are avid hotpot lovers, and were eager to try out Korean bbq, so we were excited to try out a new spot, especially since there are very few in Rhode Island.

My uncle has severe dietary restrictions, which many places find difficult to accommodate. However, thanks to Wendy, my uncle had the best dining experience, as did we.

She taught us how to use the grill and made excellent recommendations for vegetarian options for my uncle. She was incredibly attentive to all of our needs, welcoming, and patient, which is not easy to do with 12 loud Italians!

I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone and will be going as soon as possible!!

The service and vibe were awesome. They kick things off with salad and some small banchan. The all-you-can-eat Premium set felt a bit pricey for a pretty basic menu; I'd suggest going for the hot pot and BBQ combo instead since it has more options. The pictures in the menu don’t really match what you actually get. The sauce station should be accessible from both sides or organized better. The grill took a while to heat up, and it took longer for the food to cook too. Though they were great about swapping out the grill without having to ask. My favorite dish was the sesame balls. Overall, it was a nice experience.

I love the experience of Korean bbq.. endless options. Great meat , kimchi, sauce bar,and veggies all work together to make magic. Cook and eat... Hot and spicy.. very busy due to great employees taking great care of many details... Support our local business in Rhode Island..

This place is awesome, we show up regularly as a treat after a long week and it is reliably amazing. The staff is super nice and relaxed, the atmosphere is laid back enough that we often bring our five year old and she has fun too. If you've never had hot pot or bbq and you're hesitant, definitely try here for your first time!
