After reading online reviews, we decided to check it out, and it certainly wasn't hype. The margaritas were awesome, the chicken tortilla soup was delightful, and Nicole at the bar was so welcoming, as soon as we walked through the door. This place is a must-try, you won't be disappointed.

What a great place ! Small and family owned , I Believe we met the whole family in the last few times we have went. It's a very welcoming place , I would for sure bring a family there or a date for cocktails. The drinks are delicious and they do a great job at keeping them full. My fiancé usually orders a quesadilla and they are huge ! I get the chimichangas and they are stuffed with meat. Loaded. And the queso on it is fabulous. I Believe they add some kind of peppers to it. So nice ! It's a great spot with fresh , great quality food , and helpful staff. I highly recommend.

Stopped in on a whim and grabbed some tacos and a drink. We had a couple different tacos, steak, chicken and fish all were pretty good, and the Birria tacos were fantastic!Going to go back again soon and try an entree, and hopefully add a star or two.

We decided to give this newly renovated space a try. I kinda miss the old restaurant it was before, a guatemalan place but hey things happen so we went and it wasn't busy at all and got sat right away. To keep this short and sweet, the reason for the 2 stars is because overall the food was just okay/average at best, very similar to other Mexican restaurants that have precooked rice and re heated refried beans. Also my peppers and onions to steak ratio was way off with not much steak pieces at all. But the MAIN reason for not wanting to ever return here is because our waiter came over to the table WAY TOO MANY TIMES!!!!! In a span of less than an hour total time of being sat down and paying/leaving, he must of checked on us AT LEAST 8 times !! Are you kidding me ? It became very excessive and very annoying and we started to wonder like what the heck like can we eat in peace?? , it's a tiny restaurant so we felt very uncomfortable whenever he was only 5 feet away thinking "oh God he's not coming back again is he to check on us?" It made for a not so chill date night and my partner was getting really aggravated so we ate really fast to get outta there as soon as possible. For that reason primarily we will never return and don't recommend to our family and friends.

2 stars only because the owners cared enough to make the decor pretty. The service was terrible. Our waiter Jay took our order and an hour later my dates dish arrived. My order of tacos took an additional 25 minutes to come out with no update on the status. The table next to us received the wrong order and the table next to them also waited an hour 25 minutes to get their plates. That table had 3 kids. The bathroom had no toilet paper and an overflowing trash can. When I told the waiter I didn't want the plate he brought because my date had already finished eating he didn't even offer to take it off the bill. There were plenty of employees standing around in the kitchen and dining room and only 4 tables with no big parties. I feel bad for the owner and hope they get better staff. El Charro on Mineral Spring Ave and Jalepenos are way better.
