I sat at the bar. Waited almost an hour for the food. The bartender was chit chatting, a lot of the time while I waited to place my order. She got other customers’ orders before mine and served them, while I waited to place my order.I waited over 10 minutes before she even came to the table with menus. Then about 10 minutes to just get bread. I asked for water without ice and after 10 minutes, I got a load of water full of ice. After waiting almost an hour, I ended up asking to have my food to go and after 20 min, I still didn’t have my food. I ended up telling her to cancel my order and she said “we are busy”, and I said “these other people came after me and got their food before me” and all she said was “I know”.This was the Worst service I’ve had!

Great Italian restaurant. Better than anything on "the hill". A great variety of options and wine. Everything we had was just delicious and the staff was great. 10 out of 10 will be back again and again.

The restaurant's warm and inviting ambiance creates the perfect setting for a cozy dinner or special occasion. With attentive service and a carefully curated wine selection, Il Fornello promises a memorable dining experience. While prices may be higher for upscale dining, the quality and authenticity of the food make it well worth it.

I’ve become a regular at this wonderful establishment. Why? The perfect combination of food, service, and ambiance.Phil is top notch at his job. Always smiling and happy, knows my favorites, and just makes it a great experience.Their homemade bread is excellent as is the salad that comes with meals. One of the rare times I’ll eat an olive. The chicken parm is divine. I always judge a restaurant by their red sauce & I love theirs. Chicken marsala is also excellent. For drinks? The bourbon ball is a must. Topping it off for dessert is usually the pecan bread pudding.

Came here with friends. I had the Veal Francese, and honestly, it wasn't that good. There was a very strong salty ocean flavor to it with garlic and lemon. It might just be my taste buds, but I didn't like it. However, I tried my friend's Cacio e Pepe, and that was great, and I heard that the Chicken Parm was great as well. I also had the Fried Calamari. However, I would prefer if it were more crispy. The Foccacia bread was nice, and the house salad was great. Service was decent. They gave us time and choices and were generally great. However, they dropped a few things and small minor details like that. Otherwise, I think this is a great place to go out with friends to. I just don't recommend

My only complaint for the 2 stars is portion for the price!! 1st time trying this restaurant while my friend recommended them.We ordered delivery. I ordered snail salad $17 if I had to guess the portion size.. barely an ounce! Flavor was awesome very good! My main dish was Frutti Da Mar $27 mostly made up with mussels & squid then 1 sea scallop(REALLY?!! That's all you could spare!), 1.5 shrimp a half of a shrimp lmao!!, then lastly 2 little necks!! Flavor was on point! But I always order this at other venues with a hefty equal portion for less money. I'd have paid $22 for dinner and $13 for snail salad. Next time we'll have to dine in to see if they actually hook it up.Then door dash forgets half our order. Which we ended up getting.

The Italian restaurant provides a satisfying dining experience. While it may not reach the level of being exceptional, it certainly offers a good meal. The establishment is notably spacious, making it suitable for various occasions, especially family dinners. The servers contribute positively to the overall experience with their friendly and accommodating demeanor. Overall, it's a decent choice for those seeking a pleasant Italian dining option, particularly for family gatherings in a spacious setting.Parking: 30 spacesKid-friendliness: Family place, good for kids tooWheelchair accessibility: Can access

The squash flowers were truly amazing well worth the price I had the Ribeye with broccoli Rabe. It was cooked to perfection, and my wife had the Gnocchi and red sauce. This is a hidden gem. Phil, thanks for a great dinner. We love you,

I had lunch here yesterday. I had clams with white sauce and my brother had a veal sandwich. I could have ordered most of the items on the menu, as everything looked so good! Prices were really good. The atmosphere was casual and cool. The waitress was perfect. Believe me, I worked my way through college twice working as a waitress, so I know. She always appeared at the right time to check on us without ever intruding.I plan on visiting again for dinner.

Nice experience, better food. Awesome service. Brandon did a great job taking care of the six in my party. We always had bread and water on the table. It took longer to get our food than I like, but that wasn't any fault of his. The place is pretty small inside and it is a bit pricy, but for a special occasion; it was great.
