I guess the rating of 3.0 is not surprising since Popeyes locations typically get pretty low ratings, but I didn't find this one to be too bad. I got the spicy chicken tenders, which were quite good – they seemed spicier here than at most locations, which is a plus for me. The mac and cheese was good too, but had an odd, somewhat gritty texture.
I recently visited Popeye’s in Louisiana and had a mixed experience. The service was amazing—quick, friendly, and attentive—and the atmosphere was lovely and welcoming. We placed an order online and when we went to pick it up in store, we were told they didn’t offer that item. The cashier was very polite and helped us contact customer support to get the money back, as well as give us a small sweet tea as a consolation for the gallon we weren’t able to get.
