I'm from California, and I am inspired by the shop's owner Michael. He didn't let rejection from other employers stop his dreams of making a living and becoming independent. He achieved his dreams, and his story makes my dream of becoming a practicing IT fully realistic. Fellow Yelpers, for the autistic individual, especially those of us the DSM-V formerly labeled with Asperger Syndrome, every day is a struggle. People tend to either see you as an unwanted burden, a charity case to be helped, or an inspirational Rain Man-type character. Autism is a spectrum, and every individual is different. Those of us on the spectrum have an old adage: "If you've met one person with autism, you've met one person with autism." Don't judge us by our disability, by the lonely mass-shooter-type stereotypes the media perpetuates, or even by the standard of Hollywood autism. Get to know the person behind the disability. Many of us are empathetic, kind, and fully realized people of our own. Michael, what you have done is show that you didn't let your disability define you. That is an amazing thing to have done. You are one step closer than I to being a fully independent man of your own. Independence is a hard struggle, but it is worth fighting for. You deserve every accolade your business gets. If I am ever in the area, I plan to stop in and would love to meet you if that is the case. I want you to know that even here, in sunny, drought-ravaged, fire-prone California, you have a fan.

Just stopped in for the first time after googling local coffee shops. The shop is really cool and has neat little things you can buy, most seem to be locally made goods. The latte I got is really good, so are the truffles. I like small, unique places like this.

Beautiful touristy little place. ? Went here to have a coffee and was pleasantly surprised to see all the little things you can buy. Truffles are really good and everything bagel was tasty and fresh. The owner is warm and welcoming, he gave us an extra truffle ?. Do step in and say hi, if you are ever in town.

Love love love this place! It's so cute because it's also a little gift shop and sells the nicest handmade items which support local artists. They also sell TRUFFLES! The owner Michael is a sweetheart as well! Their iced caramel macchiato was delicious. My recommendation is be patient while your there, if you just want to be in and out then you will not enjoy your experience. Take in and appreciate the store and the experience, they really want you to enjoy everything their store has to offer.

This is a great coffee house, bakery and gift shop. Veteran owned. Literally the best customer service. The food was good and the coffee is great. I took a peek at the gift store and had local Rhode Island things. I highly suggest. Make it a destination on your Rhode Island travels.

Just found my new favorite coffee shop! The coffee was good, employees were nice and food was delicious. Only small issue was it was a little awkward trying to park. Will definitely be back soon!

I worked there and have tried and brought many various items from there. I love it there honestly they are the best coffee shop I've experienced they treat customers as like friends and it's very friendly there. Sure it may be a bit expensive but it's worth looking into. It's worth giving them business as well!
