I live up the hill from this place and, have eaten here twice since I moved here. Very consistent service and quality of food. It does get very busy around 10 a.m. on the weekends,but it is definitely worth the wait

Fast and friendly service with hot coffee as soon as you sit
The waitress was quick, friendly, and super helpful with the menu choices. She was upbeat and answered all of the questions we had about the menu.

This was my first visit to Amand's Kitchen and I was not disappointed. The menu was traditional New England fare and the service was fast, professional, and friendly. There was no wait for our food and the serving size required a takehone bag. The food was delicious and hot. Price was about $20 each. A little high but, hey, inflation is real. Park is almost nonexistent so you will have to park on the road next to the cemetery and cross over to the diner. There was no waiting...
