Azul Tequila Bar & Mexican Grill

My daughter and I tried this place because I bought a “sweet deal” from a site. We both ordered a margarita and the birria tacos. The waiter asked if we wanted the beans with our meal and we said yes because it comes with the meal. Why would we say no? The margaritas and food was average and it still cost us $100 with the tip. We paid and left. We get home and come to find out they overcharged an extra $9 for the beans!! When I messaged the restaurant they read my message and ignored me. So I sent it again. It was read and I was ignored. So it’s safe to say I won’t be going back and I won’t tell anyone to eat here!

Needed something quick and near the highway… Azul hit all the marks, beautiful restaurant. Juan was great!!! We will be back

The food we got here was really great. Being ex-Texans, we seek out Mexican food wherever we can and there are a LOT of misses - this place is truly solid. The chicken in the enchiladas was perfectly cooked (not easy to find up here), the margaritas are strong and balanced, the salsa is good, the chips aren’t too thick and are fresh… I could go on. Two thumbs up for sure.

Dietary restrictions: If you have allergies, are vegan or really any kind of dietary restriction this is the place to go. Once you walk inside, there’s a sign telling you to tell the server immediately that you have a dietary restriction. You can take off whatever you want from the food items and there’s plenty of other options.

This is a beautiful spot authentic to the Mexican culture and famous Lotería cards!!
The food was amazing. We had tacos de carne asada, azul fajitas and the tuna tropical ceviche.
The service was also great, very attentive staff on hand and quick service.
