We really enjoyed everything about our visit. Those that ordered margaritas said they were too much ice vs drink but everything else was great. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly.

We had our first experience on July 5. Inside is very nicely decorated with vibrant colors and fun decor. The food was good. I had the tacos al pastor and thought liked them. They came with rice and beans that were delish! I had such a pretty coconut margarita too. The service was good overall. We are very much looking forward to going back soon.

Place was nicely decorated, servers where good my issue as the food.. incredibly lacking in flavor was super bland and Boring while it was visually pleasing and smelled good it was just very inauthentic, upon digging further the owner was the bar manager for Arigna.. the Irish pub that sells the most non Irish thing brick oven pizza that’s when it stared to make sense to me this place has an identity crisis it’s like the equivalent to going to a Texas Roadhouse for sushi
Edit after owner reply: never said the store wasn’t independent just stating that the owner has no Mexican restaurant experience but managed a bar that already sells not great food to begin with

This is not your typical Americanized Mexican restaurant with chimichangas on the menu. This menu has some more traditional items such as Mole' and Tacos al Pastor

Food was excellent only wish they had whole beans instead of refried beans as the only option. We will come again. Our server was wonderful.

I tried this place twice this weekend. I love the decor and the service is good. The wait time on Sunday was long. Saturday is a bit better. The burrito on Saturday was great, very filling and delicious. The flautas on Sunday were extremely disappointing. Too small and not filling compared to other locations I have tried.

First time trying Azul. Walking in, I was so impressed with the cleanliness and colorful atmosphere. It was really beautifully decorated with lots of photo opportunities. The first table we were to be seated at was not ideal...too close to the bar which was lively but just too loud.
My partner asked we sit at a booth, which was made available to us immediately and it was comfortable.
There were TVs with EVERY sport at all angles. That's great for sports lovers you literally won't miss a thing!
I was excited to try their house margarita..it was just Ok, a little sweet but not bad...but 14 dollars?. No free chips and salsa...bummer..then what we ordered was unlike any salsa I'd ever had before. It was more like marinara sauce. Fresh, but with mozzarella sticks would have made more sense. There was no acidity to it it was also really sweet.
Time for more food reviews...I got tacos de Baja and they came out looking beautiful. However, the flavor was just not there. The crema was nice and the fish was cooked well, but so bland. Even the colorful slaw on top fell FLAT. It was disappointing. My boyfriend got biria tacos...and wow. First of all, I don't know what was going on with the consume but it was so thin and oily it barely stuck to the shell for dipping. Definitely would not be good for sipping after...It did not seem that the meat was cooked in it at all either.Again, the meat while cooked well, had no flavor. There was no warmth, no depth, and it just tasted like sugar-which was confusing! The cheese was the best thing on that taco...Our server was pleasant and seemed sincere. But because of the price and the lack of flavor from the food we won't be returning.
TLDR; I think changing up some of those recipes would make a tremendous difference because the space alone is enough to want to go in..AND the service is good too...but the food is why we go and everything else is why we stay.

It was my first time coming to this restaurant and I must say. I didn't have anything to complain about. My server Eddy made sure we was well taken care of. His service was AMAZING. I had tacos de carne asada plate which was delicious and the margarita Azul to top it off. Oh and how can I forget. The salsa and chips yummy. 🤫 The best salsa I had so far it was so flavorful. The guacamole was also delicious. It's such a nice restaurant I can't wait to go back again.
