Cute place. Great food and very great service! Steak fajitas were excellent

So happy they opened back up ...always a great time. Food is good and drinks are great!

The food is pretty good and the bar is great. The only issue is the very slow service. Not sure if it's a staff issue or not, but went there Cinco de Mayo and waited 3 hours and still never got the food ordered. I felt bad for the waitresses as you could see they were stressed. They need to get a strategy down in the kitchen is where I see the issue lies. They need to seek professional advice and organize the kitchen and setup stations to build the tacos, burrito's, etc efficiently. Most of the ingredients are all the same for the various dishes on the menu, so they just need to organize the kitchen for efficiency and then they will be much better off.

Came here on 5 de Mayo so I figured they’d be a bit busy but that turned out to be an understatement. Waited an hour and a half for my food to arrive only to receive a plate of bland, cold, stale nachos. The piña colada was all sugar/syrup. And the service was severely lacking throughout the experience. We had to get up and get our own utensils because none were ever brought to us. And one of the dishes came out about 20 minutes after the rest of our food. During the entire time we were there we watched people come in, wait like 10 minutes to be seen and seated, but no one would ever approach them so they’d leave. Others waited about 30 minutes to even be able to place their drink order after theyd been seated and would leave because of the lack of service. The waitress told us they only had 2 cooks in the kitchen for a place that size. And they were short staffed with waitresses too. The business made a poor decision in opening up that day knowing they weren’t equipped to handle that amount of business and risked their integrity and reputation in doing so - honestly don’t think it was worth the risk. I ended up leaving and ordering food from another Mexican spot in CF instead. Needless to say I will not be going back to El Cafetal.

I ordered food online and they said it would be ready in 20 minutes. When I arrived everyone of the severs walked past me atleast 3 times before someone finally asked me what I needed. Still had to wait over a hour for my food to be ready! Even people sitting at the tables walked out without getting food for over a hour. I get it the staffing shortage is outrageous right now. But, with it being cinco de Mayo they should’ve planned a little better. Food was eh not worth waiting OVER A HOUR FOR

Good location, Great food, Amazing ambiance, the wait staff was Friendly and attentive the food came out in a timely manner and was delicious.

I've eaten in person once here and gotten takeout now tonight. Delicious food, great margaritas. Had the crispy fish tacos, very yummy and thoughtful to include extra tortillas. Wish I had the chance to support them more but I'm going to make more an effort to do so. Support local and check them out please. ❤️

Food was delicious and authentic, however another restaurant suffering from a staffing shortage.

Food was awesome. It took a bit to get to us but it was worth the wait. Cute decor nice little bar, inside and outside dining. Cute "couples" booths in the bar atea. Try them out i think youll go back. I know i will!

Food & Drinks are amazing & the service is great ??

I’ve given this place several chances because the first time we ate here it was good. There has been no consistency in good quality, terrible communication and the online ordering is a mess as there’s no options to customize your order, for instance: empanadas (chicken or beef) and no option to choose which. Same issue with the tortillas and type of beans, you can order the meal but no option to choose which ones you want. Very long wait times even though online ordering gives an approximate pick up time for 20 mins sometimes it’s over an hour before food is even ready.

My review is an honest opinion, I do not deter anyone from going here, please give them a try.With that being said first off ordering online was a breeze,I picked up my order in the time frame that was promised, I ordered the fish tacos. I got home and the portions were decent , packaging was nice as well. The tacos need some work, not fresh fish, it was frozen breaded fish, they were a bit bland also. I had beans and rice as a side, the flavor was bland also, definitely need some more seasoning. I will definitely go back and try another dish for sure, my photos aren’t great, but inside looks really cool and clean, staff was also very nice. The bar looks very inviting as well. I really hope the owners read this and take my review as constructive criticism, I am an avid supporter of local places and wish success for this restaurant. The price was decent, a little on the high side for what I got.

Excellent place with the nicest people. Loved their all veggies selection.
