I want to say I had such lovely service, beyond lovely, and you can see the food and drinks are thoughtful, and well loved- however the plates are TINY and it does not say that anywhere on the website, or on the menu, or the IG. You only find this out once you start reading review's.
The Menu has fancy names to divide its options and even fancier words like eclipsed delights, but it lacks the practicality of telling you what those things are really going to be.
I appreciate the art of it all , but if I am meant to spend $300 dollars on upscale pickies why am sitting on a tiny, uncomfortable, cold, metal chair and walking through the kitchen to the bathroom? Obviously you will tell me it is the location, but I am telling you that it is an off putting kind of thing in a place I am spending $300 dollars for a four top at. The entire night felt like a fine dining menu out of a Gastro Pub.
Hearing the name Hangry Kitchen you might expect to be fed heartily but that is not the case. Honestly I got takeout from somewhere else on the way home because the seven bites over four split dishes was not the answer for dinner. The best part was dessert which was the size you would expect.
If you have an adventurous foodie in your life you should give this place a try, but I cannot tell you I am lining up to go back.
It is beautiful to see a real restaurant out in the wild and I again cannot say enough about the service ,you can feel how special the place is to them and I loved that, but what even is an eclipsed delight and why is there a flower head on my grilled cheese if I cannot eat it? These perceived fancy aspects would be better spent transforming the dining room. You can make a place feel like you can be casually dressed and still have deep, luxurious, upscale amenities that make folks want to sit and spend money.

We never thought we’d find this level of quality in Pawtucket, but we’re so glad we did. We were in the area with a few hours to kill and decided to give Hangry Kitchen a try—thank God we did. What we didn’t realize at first is that it’s a true farm-to-table restaurant, and it absolutely shows.
The food was outstanding—fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and packed with flavor. The cocktails were just as impressive, perfectly balanced and delicious. From start to finish, everything was fantastic.
As picky eaters, this means a lot to us, and Hangry Kitchen easily earns five stars. It’s so good that we’ll now make it a point to travel outside our normal area just to come back. We can’t recommend it enough and will definitely be coming back often.

My wife and I had a very pleasant date night here.

Stepping into the cozy setting was satisfying with the frigid winter night.

We ordered the bread and butter with crispy chicken skin chips, the bison skirt steak and the roasted bone marrow with toast. All was so well presented and prepared.

Dessert did not disappointment with a Swiss roll with cream.

We will gladly return as the owners very frequently rotate the menu. (I overheard one of the owners mention she was adding some kind of cinnamon roll dessert which sounds like Heaven.)

Service was very pleasant and attentive.

Hugely recommend. You pay for the quality.

First time here. Owner was super great and snuck me in at the bar despite being busy. Had the pot pie. Delish. It gave all the flavors without it feeling heavy. And super reasonable on the pricing.

Amazing! We had three dishes - brussel sprouts, monkfish and wild boar & venison. To die for! Lambrusco to drink. This is a foodie experience well worth the visit. They change the menu each week. Just go and be amazed by what is offered and how the food is different dishes of flavor explosions. I don't know how the chef does it, but so glad she does!

WOW!!! This was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time, and I usually hate going out to eat. I can’t even describe how flavorful the food is. Delectable is an understatement!

Had an incredible anniversary dinner, highlights were the turnips and the monkfish. The food is so excellent and made great convo with the barkeep. Ended up being plenty full on a veggie and an protein dish each, plus shared dessert. Was all so good :) Felt very well taken care of and left feeling like pawtucket has something very very special.

Good and interesting farm to market menu, changes weekly. Oldish rustic atmosphere and fun friendly service.

Our dinner there this evening was a wonderful experience. The menu was creative and thoughtful, with impressive ingredients and intriguing ideas. Everything was small plate, and it allowed our family of four to each have a small serving of each item. I recommend variety. The servers were kind and friendly, the co-owner came over and spoke to us and told us about upcoming events and how their restaurant runs on sustainability and local food. Then, his wife, the chef and co-owner, Stacy, came over and spoke to us about how they are are a zero waste restaurant and they partner with local farms to inspire her menu, which changes each week! She is passionate about her career and so intelligent and knowledgeable. Stacy and her husband both spoke to my son, who wants to be a chef, about the business and gave him advice. Stacy even invited him back to mentor him in his passion. It was cute inside, with eclectic plates and dishes, collected at vintage and antiques stores by the owners. There is limited seating, but we didn’t have a wait tonight. We will definitely go back. Things were fresh and I left feeling satisfied and pleased, but not overly stuffed. I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next. The banana bread grilled cheese and grilled chocolate babka were amazing.

My wife and I are so happy we found this restaurant! Feels like a hidden gem. The whole place reminded us of old Metacom Kitchen in Warren. Knowledgeable and attentive wait staff. Beautifully prepared cocktails. A simple yet imaginative tapas menu. We shared 3 plates and wish we would have ordered more because the whole menu looked very interesting. Feel like a great place for a quick bite and cocktail as well being a place where you could course out your very own tasting menu. It’s nice to see a new restaurant that is passionate about what they’re doing and you can tell that the chef and the rest of the staff care about what they’re serving. We think this place hits a lot of the right notes and we are excited to go back and try other dishes!
