The coffee here is exceptional. Best in Pawtucket / Providence.

Hazel Origin Coffee is hands down one of my favorite spots in Providence and Pawtucket. I first discovered them at their Fox Point location near my son’s school, and it instantly became a go-to. What hooked me right away was their chai, if you’re a chai latte person, you’ll know how rare it is to find one this good. Nothing compares to theirs. I don't even dare to order at any other place because I know I will be disappointed.

The atmosphere is cozy yet lively, clean and with plenty of space to settle in. I often bring my laptop and end up staying for hours, the vibe just makes it easy to work (or relax). The food and drinks are generous in portion, consistently delicious, and always served by the friendliest staff.

With two locations already thriving and a third on the way, it’s clear Hazel Origin Coffee is becoming a local staple. I feel lucky to have stumbled upon it when I did! :)

The food and drink were delicious and staff were friendly. I feel as the price isn’t any different than that of a Starbucks or Tatte - but I feel like that is to be expected.

Great spacious atmosphere.
Great espresso. Awesome service.
Freshly prepared sandwiches were great but the sides could be fresher.
Second visit:
Not so great. The young man at the counter should be advised on some service professionalism, including on not handing customers their utensils with bare hands and holding the from the ‘eating end’.
At 9am, the pastry was obviously not fresh from today, maybe yesterday.
The espresso was still fantastic.
The sandwich and toast were also great again.
I tried to chat with the owner/manager to give some helpful feedback.. she said she was not normally the manager of this location and seemed to not be interested in what a customer had to say.

The food and coffee are great, but they recently gutted their menu and removed all the best options they had. I haven’t been back as often without my faves on the menu :(

I absolutely adore Riley. Every time I come in there, they give me the best service while also maintaining wonderful conversation as they prepare my drinks perfectly. I have yet to have one concoction from there that I have not loved

The atmosphere is great, a bit pricey and not a big selection for breakfast, weird location but I may give it another try

Hazel Origin Coffee — Review

I recently visited Hazel Origin Coffee and ordered a cappuccino with almond milk and a piece of toast topped with avocado and corn, totaling around $20 — honestly, quite pricey for what you get.

The waitstaff were decent, but the experience was disappointing. The biggest issue: I found a hair on the food, which is simply unacceptable at any price point.

Additionally, I had asked for brown sugar on the side. After reminding the server when she brought the food, she acknowledged it — but I never received it at the table. When I stood up to look around, I noticed the brown sugar sitting on the counter. She could have easily just told me it was up front if she didn’t want to bring it over, rather than leaving me waiting.

Music is too loud.

Overall, the quality control and service need improvement, especially given the high prices. A café experience should feel thoughtful and clean, and unfortunately, this one missed the mark. Photos attached.

Someone recommended Hazel Origin Coffee, so I stopped by. It was beautiful. The barista said they're expanding their hours (closed at 2, but are expanding into the evenings). It was a little off the beaten path, but I think this is a rising gem. I'll be back.

Really cute place with lots of study space and a decent selection of drinks and snacks, but woah. I didn't know I was entering Club Hazel Origin...When I first arrived to study it was already a little loud but okay with headphones, but in the last hour they gradually turned it up so loud that I could no longer work as the walls were vibrating. Staff started putting up chairs all around us nearly 40 min before close, clearly wanted us to leave (it was only 3 patrons in the store including a family with a small child). Just giving patrons a friendly heads up that they are closing would have sufficed. I really hope the employer pays employees past 2pm to close up but it doesn't appear that way. Food was not bad but not good enough to justify making guests feel unwelcome well before closing and don't want to come back.

Update: Owner replied to my review at midnight claiming they have discussed it and it won't happen again. You talked to your employee at midnight? Looks like they've been getting complaints about the music for at least 11 months so I would not expect it to change but hopefully i'm wrong!
