Maria's Breakfast & Lunch

The food was okay, but we won’t be coming back. When we were walking in, a waitress bolted outside so fast that she almost knocked my wife over with the door. It seemed like she was trying to help a man who had fallen on the sidewalk, but there was already another waitress assisting him, and he appeared fine. So you really have to think what you are doing before
running outside so fast and pushing the door of the place that always has people coming in.

Our own waitress was fine, but the entire situation just left a bad impression. The waitress who nearly hit my wife never apologized and walked past our table multiple times without acknowledging what happened. When we finished our meal, I specifically waited until she was at the counter to try and speak with her, but as soon as I approached, she ran straight into the kitchen, avoiding me entirely.

I had heard similar stories about this place from friends, and now I’ve seen it for myself. Unfortunately, this just confirmed what I was told, so we won’t be returning.

loud, & packed. waited 45 mins for a table then 20 for cold food for myself and overcooked food for the people i was with. definitely not worth it in my opinion, the smaller ma and pa breakfast places are more worth it.

100$ for some potatoes eggs and bacon? I haven’t gone to this place in years and with these prices …. Won’t be visiting probably ever again. Stop voting for democrats. Not to mention the waiter felt the need to add her own 18% gratitude to the bill and write it on the back. Very sneaky and dishonest

So happy my husband and I stumbled upon this breakfast diner. The servers were very kind and professional and the food was good. We will definitely come back. I noticed they have a special menu every month infused by different cultures. Very nice detail.
