**The Atmosphere criterion here does not apply**A southern fried chicken and fried fish place INSIDE a 7-11. Hmm. I am IN.Ever since Popeye's stopped serving dirty rice, catfish, and jumbo fried shrimps, I've been wishing for a fast serve spot to take over the reins on these items. Well, Raise the Roost is it as it serves up delicious, crispy chicken and fried fish. Plus unique desserts like Cinnamon Pie (not for me, though). There are bone-in wings (yum), tenders, sandwiches, did I mention fish filet? (ha!). I only wish that the Nashville Hot variety is a regular menu item instead of a chicken sandwich special. Go, get your gas, grab your convenience store stuff, and while you're at it, grab your share of a Southern meal.Don't expect 5-star service, though. Just make sure they take your order correctly and check before you leave. I mean, it's quick serve inside a convenience store...

Food was barely edible. The buns were the only good thing about it. Will never be eating there again.

I can honestly say that this place has never gotten my order wrong once, and I can't say I hate their food ?.

It’s really decent fried chicken for being a grab-and-go inside of a 7Eleven. I was really surprised, and enjoyed it. Just wouldn’t necessarily call it quick-serve or a restaurant, but the chicken biscuits and sandwiches are good.

UpdateNo one insight during business hours. not cool. walked half a mile with one one in the store.---------UpdateThe chicken joint has seen better days. Shame the prices have gone up. Mistakes when placing a custom order for one of their boxes. 2 tiny chicken wings. Not the leg or breast like when they started out last year. I visit the convenience store flat they are in all the time but never again Roost.Parking: Enough to get in and out.Wheelchair accessibility: Isles are too small for wheelchair or motorized scooter or a walker.

I never would've thought I'd find great tasting fresh fried chicken at a 7-11. This restaurant is inside the store frying up chicken, baking biscuits, and making gravy. Chicken isn't greasy and it's all white meat tenders in the sandwiches. Biscuits are light and buttery. They also have several sides to choose from like creamy Mac and cheese, coleslaw, fries, and mashed potatoes. The huge salads filled with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, cheese, bacon and Roost chicken pieces, is my favorite. You can buy pre-made sandwiches in the hot case or ask for yours to be made. There are tables near the front of the store to sit and eat, that have charging ports for your phone. They also are on DoorDash for delivery. The service during lunch rush can take a bit longer. This is the only location in RI.

Complete trash customer service. Stood there for 10mins, then went to the cashier on the gas station side, told me to order at the other register, proceeds to watch me wait there another 10mins. Im cool off trying that place if you cant even be around to take an order.

I wanted to check out the Chicken at this new spot, I was first taken aback at the dirty environment throughout the whole store. Full trash bags just sitting on stores floor, and it looked as if the store hadn't been cleaned in awhile. The counter at the food area was dirty. I didn't want to cause a scene at store as I wasn't about to eat my 2 PC meal so I tossed it in the trash outside. You'd think a NEW store would be immaculate..I definitely would not frequent this establishment again.

Chicken sandwich was very disappointing. When an employee finally came out to take my order I specified I only wanted the sandwich. I was charged for the whole meal. The photos make it look like a singular piece of chicken. I ended up with 2 tenders with the tiniest bloop of sauce. By the second bite the whole sanwich fell apart. The driest chicken sandwich Ive ever had. Ive tried contacting the store about being overcharged and my call is repeatedly forwarded. It does not appear to be a line designated for the business. If it was a good sandwich I would let go of being overcharged but it was far from it. Whole experience does not encourage returning by any means.
