Great place for a brunch! Quaint atmosphere and staff are very friendly. Portion sizes are very good along with prices this place I give five stars
My dad and I loved to go out to breakfast and the East Providence location was where we liked to go. Unfortunately, my dad recently passed but I still go either alone or with a friend as a way to feel close to my dad. The staff is always incredibly kind. I tend to get the same server in the morning and I wish I knew his name but he is always kind and attentive. Thank you for the great service and warm welcome.
First timer here. Got the fish and chips, sub-par. Presentation was lacking so that already made the food unappetizing. Was expecting it to be more fresh as in an actual fish, not a fish patty. Homemade tartar sauce was watery, coleslaw was average. Just overall underwhelming. Maybe the mistake was expecting so much from a non seafood shop? Also, beware it is a VERY small space. If like space to eat, skip this location, tables are on top of each other.

Honestly I loved this place and have been multiple times. Despite once finding lash extension in my takeout. They offer refund and dealt with it kindly. But the last time I went in, there was a long black hair in my food. Although they were nice and offer new plate I was still very grossed out and don’t think I’ll be going back. I’ve noticed their cooks don’t wear hair nets at all and maybe that needs to change and everyone has to start using them.
It’s a bit disappointing bc this was one of our fav brunch places. The waitress are nice and service is great food delicious but hygiene is major deal breaker for me.

Hi Tiffany~
Had we eaten at the restaurant, I would have definitely brought this to someone’s attention. However, it was a takeout order. The El Guanaco breakfast was decent, but I do think the price for eggs, bacon, and home fries is a bit overpriced, especially considering how simple the dish was. The home fries were very dry, the bacon wasn’t great, and the toast was extremely dry—there wasn't even butter on it. These are small but important details. I’m not being rude or sarcastic, just sharing an honest review. Had I been dining in with my family, I would’ve certainly addressed these issues with the staff.
I was really excited to try this place, but unfortunately, it was overpriced and overhyped. Four breakfasts totaling nearly $90, and only one of the dishes was decent. I think Phantom Gourmet might need to revisit this spot. While the backstory of the place is beautiful, the food did not live up to expectations. My homefries, in particular, were dry and bland. I truly wanted to love this place and give a great review, but sadly, it didn’t deliver.
Food is very. Outdoor was nice on a sunny November Saturday. Was very busy but queue was well managed. Gluten free French toast was really good.
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free offerings was a great and delicious surprise.
Wheelchair accessibility: Parking lot is accessible. Didn't enter so no idea if it's negotiable inside.

I've eaten here twice and the food is just ok; it's not bad, but it's not that good either. The atmosphere is nice, but the older/middle-aged server is weird. Both times I visited this place, she had a pretentious air about her; she'll look down on you - almost as if she thinks too highly of herself - and her mannerisms are a bit distasteful. The younger server seemed kind, though.
All in all, I would rate this place a 3.5 out of 5.

Went to the Rhody Hen for breakfast and split the Rhody Hen omelet and Pumpkin Pancakes. Both items were delicious. The omelet came with potatoes that were really good too. The pancakes were perfect! They came out hot and they were pumpkin-y, but not too much and they had a sweetness, but that was just right too. No need for syrup at all! My only complaint is it feels really tight at this location, but I get they're working with the space the best they can. Otherwise, love everything about it.

I meet with my brother and sister-in-law for lunch once a month, and the Rhody Hen Cafe has become our go-to place for the past 3 months. We've tried both breakfast and lunch items, and have been happy with all our choices. They make the best blueberry pancakes ever!

First time visit for breakfast and we loved it. Super lovely staff and delish food. Great omlettes, home fries and toast. Real maple syrup too! Great to see their gluten free options too - pancakes, french toast and waffles as well as raisin, rye (the toast I got, tasty) and and white bread. We'll be back ?❤️
