So I was driving along and decided to stop by an get a coffee and see what Higher Grounds has to offer. I’m pretty burnt out from the mainstream coffee shops. With there same ol’ options .
When I walked in the atmosphere was very welcoming felt like a cozy place. Very relaxed an home like.
The girl at the counter name was Katie and she was super friendly. They have lots of options from coffees ,hot chocolate to add on flavors . They also have fresher baked pastries, muffins , cookies to wraps and bagel sandwiches. Kind of overwhelming but the girl behind the counter was very patient and helpful explaining things and made good recommendations.
If you are in the area I would highly recommend it . It’s a great spot to relax an unwind from the busy morning.

We were so disappointed with our food and drinks :(
The coffee didn’t taste good and the food was no different than a fast food chain.
Our avocado toast had barely any avocado on it - the mashed avocado was lightly spread on the bagel… we could see the bagel through the above spread - that’s how thin the layer was.
The other sandwich we ordered was ok… but it tasted very much like a pre made or frozen item.
The bagels were good, though.
Please take this as a constructive critique, not as us bashing the place!

A quick stop for coffee. Not only did we get a great cup of coffee, but the friendliest service as well. The interior was charming and inviting. Don't stop at Starbucks, keep going for a real cup of coffee.

A wonderful blend of nautical heritage and community vibes bundled into an affordable and welcoming cafe. Highly recommend if you're looking for a place to sit for a while or an alternative to corporate coffee.

I stopped in for a quick tea and bagel. The service was great. The staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome. The bagel was almost as good a NYC bagel but hey I’m biased.

Fablous coffee, food, and staff! And really relaxing space. I wish more people would stop there, I think a bigger sign would help.

Odd amount of passive aggressive rudeness. When me and my 80year old mother came in with her service dog the person working said you can’t come in with the dog. We said it was a service dog and we could show the ID. They said the dog has to have a vest on. We kindly explained it was 95 degrees outside and she had a medallion around her neck instead. Then the person said “This is a lot of contention for getting a couple coffees” We then left this “community” coffee house.
The best iced green tea around. Great atmosphere!
