Solid, if basic, cafe with wonderful staff.

My wife loves the EMT sandwiches, Lately I have been fond of the cappuccinos and the cold brew. They have some seasonal items and baked goods. The food is good, it won't change your life, but it tastes good and has been consistent. I would like to see some more unique food offerings, maybe more more veggie options.

The service and vibe here is where Higher Grounds shines. The staff is very friendly and the owners/managers are engaging and pleasant. I started coming here cause it was the only indie coffee shop in town, but I continue to come here cause the vibes are great and the staff is awesome.

Vegetarian options: They serve vegetarian pastries, bagels/breads, eggs, veggies and a hummus wrap. Limited vegetarian protein options.

Parking: The parking lot is shared with the ice cream parlor next door, but there are plenty of spaces for both businesses. There are always spaces available even during busy times.

I come here every time I’m in the area and they never disappoint. All the employees are kind and welcoming and each time I have a question, they are ready to answer or make a suggestion. Their Lil Rhody Latte is head and shoulders above any other coffee I’ve had, and I’ve had a lot of coffee. So glad this place exists!

Lifelong not coffee drinker here. Only drink iced chai because my wife convinced me to. I can fairly confidently say this is the best iced chai in Rhode Island as it is the best iced chai I’ve had by a longshot. 10/10 would recommend

Great coffee shop with incredibly friendly staff! The breakfast sandwiches and coffee are great and they even let our kids take home some little rubber ducks they found in the display that they were playing with!

This was my first visit here for #icedcoffeechallenge2024 #rifoodfights. I had a nice Iced Lavender Coffee. A cute coffee place with amazing soft bagels.

Higher Grounds is right in our backyard and we have been enjoying them since their opening. This visit was for the RI Foodfights Coffee Celebration and we got to enjoy our favorites (cold brew and chai latte). The staff is always so friendly every time we come!

Popped in when driving by and met the owner: what an affable guy! The shop is charming and so inviting. If I lived anywhere near by, I’d definitely be a regular. I’ll have to settle on driving by occasionally and look forward to that as a compromise.

I went here for the first time for the RI food fights coffee celebration and was impressed! I tried a large iced coffee with their house-made brown cinnamon sugar syrup and it was delicious. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.

Best coffee around! I always get the iced Americano and breakfast sandwich. The staff is friendly and a great environment. Good place to get a bite and work on your laptop or read a book

Burnt espresso. Products anre way too expensive for the lack of quality. Owner is awful. There is a much better shop a little down the road.
