I used to enjoy stopping here off the bike path, nice staff and good coffee, but for the past month homeless people have made the outside their new home. Asking for change and giving stares like they're waiting for an opportunity. The staff doesn't seem to care as the number of homeless people around the shop seems to increase. Just doesn't feel safe anymore and has ruined the experience for me. Unfortunately will be going elsewhere from now on.
I used to go to Borealis when I lived in Riverside while attending RWU Law. I am no longer in RI. However, I am randomly thinking about how good the coffee was, wish I had some right now, and thought I would shout Borealis out. Good vibes there too, beautiful layout. Will be back when I visit one day ✌️
Stopped by while riding the bike path through town. Very impressed: quick service, excellent cappuccino, and delicious cheddar scone. Couldn’t ask for a better pit stop.

Cool spot along the bike path with outdoor seating. Very good coffee. Out of all sandwiches by 11am on a weekend=unacceptable.

Really loved the atmosphere and food. You can tell the biscuit was homemade it was really good. The multiple meat alternatives are a plus cause I can't have pork. Nice classy place to enjoy good coffee and sandwiches.

An off the trail oasis! If you’re a biker on the trail you won’t find a better place to stop for a bite and a great coffee!
Always there are a few pour over options in addition to the batch brew and all the other drinks that these folks make.

Not only is their coffee amazing, but they have great customer service too! I was accidentally given a non-gluten free item and they quickly refunded me even though I didn’t have a receipt. Speaking of gluten free, I love that they have several options for us gf people. Nothing better than a coffee and a sweet treat, and Borealis delivers on both fronts!
Great coffee and baristas. Great patio seating and family friendly. Little gem of Riverside, maybe the shiniest. For those complaining about high prices, quality comes with a price tag. I’ve paid far more for far worse. Borealis is great don’t sleep on it.

Tried Borealis for the first time. Went with a large latte (20 oz) with a maple flavor shot and macadamia Creamer. A little pricey, but thought it was good. Service was good as well, two coffees came out in a minute or two. I'd stop in again, but more of a splurge than a frequent flyer.
