On February 13 at around 2:30 PM, I walked in expecting a quick coffee. There was one customer at the counter chatting with the two staff members, who were laughing and fully engaged in conversation. I stood a few feet away, waiting patiently to order, but neither of them acknowledged me or even glanced over. After several minutes of being completely ignored, it started feeling uncomfortable, like I wasn’t even there. I decided not to interrupt their conversation, turned around, and left without ordering. A simple “be right with you” would have made all the difference.

Incredible coffee spot. I love their corn blueberry muffin. We grab extra after trying one. Enjoy both the lattes and espresso shots.

Really, really good latte. I wish they stayed open longer (close at 2pm).
They have dine in mugs available, which is always a plus.
Every table was occupied, but it was also a rainy day so might be more open space in better weather.
Would definitely go back for the coffee at least.

Like that this place is here, esp with outdoor seating in nice weather. But limited food with only poor pastry selection by late morning.

My favorite coffee shop in the PVD area. Great coffee and food (I love the biscuit + jam soooo much), super friendly workers and a cute space with a nice patio, conveniently next to the bike path.

I love biking and this is the perfect stop on the most beautiful bike path in the state.
Great London fog. Not too sweet. Perfectly strong (and they removed the tea bag so it didn’t over steep and get bitter without my needing to ask - which I love. That’s the right way) they also have “for here” cups in case you don’t like to drink out of plastic or make trash. (Or want to take it with you on the bike)
Highly recommend.

This is a perfect place to stop on your East Bay Bike Path bike ride, run, or walk. The cold brew and cappuccino are both solid. You can enjoy your drinks in their outside seating area. Most people put their bikes next to the fence that sections off the seating area so that it’s easy to keep an eye on their bikes. If you put your bike next to the part of the fence furthest from the cafe building, there is plenty of shade to keep your bike cool. The bathroom is clean and very helpful since the section of the East Bay Bike Path closet to Providence has fewer accessible restrooms.

I used to enjoy stopping here off the bike path, nice staff and good coffee, but for the past month homeless people have made the outside their new home. Asking for change and giving stares like they're waiting for an opportunity. The staff doesn't seem to care as the number of homeless people around the shop seems to increase. Just doesn't feel safe anymore and has ruined the experience for me. Unfortunately will be going elsewhere from now on.
I used to go to Borealis when I lived in Riverside while attending RWU Law. I am no longer in RI. However, I am randomly thinking about how good the coffee was, wish I had some right now, and thought I would shout Borealis out. Good vibes there too, beautiful layout. Will be back when I visit one day ✌️
