food here is amazing and all the servers are super friendly most the time the scorpion bowls are great every now and then I get a week one LOL but all in all I give it 4.75 to 5 stars for a local Chinese restaurant

If you want a true Chinese/Japanese experience I'd recommend this place up and down. Caitlyn has waited on us or given me take out nearly everytime and she's fantastic! Then, after you eat, you can hang out by the beautiful lake across the street!

just ordered food from China Gourmet in Signal Hill, Ca.. upon entering the restaurant a young man greeted me with a hello. He was pleasent and welcoming. He took my order of mushroom chicken, mixed vegetables and rice with a two order combo. I had BBQ pork, half and half and jalapeño chicken, with two drinks. Returned home and started to dive in! WOW IT WAS AMAZING! The pork was cooked just right, the chicken was extremely delicious and chow mein was actual chow mein and not Top Ramen noodles substitute. my friend who ordered the mushroom chicken and vegetables couldn't stop eating. I've been to numerous fast Chinese food places and none of them have been as good as this place with the quality of food and the amount given. the price was moderate in today's society of price gouging it was $27 and well worth it. if you enjoy Chinese food and really want to get a bang for your buck as well as and enjoyment of flavors in your mouth go to China Gourmet!

Food was delicious out server Jessica was wonderful, very clean immaculate. Orange chicken a d vegetable wonderful. The crab ragoons delicious. Combination plates are wonderful with some to take home. Can't wait to go back.

I found this place by accident!!! I was on the road working looking for something to take home for dinner and drove by, I ordered from the parking lot waiting ten mins and got my food… the staff were friendly and made me laugh… apparently the house duck sauce is a FAVORITE of many, I tried it and it is now a favorite of mine!!!! Unlike anything I’ve tasted!!!! It really was delicious
This place was very very bad. Like very bad. The noodles looked like mushed baby food. The spareribs were all fat and spongey and I couldn’t eat them or I would surely choke. Rice was dry af with no flavor at all. Never going back to this nasty joint.

This is our go to place for Asian food carry-out. Last night we ordered pork fried rice, udon noodle soup, dragon tuna sushi and crab ragoon - a wide variety to please everyone. All items ordered were fantastic! The family was happy & that's what every mom wants on a Friday night!
Vegetarian options: Easy to find options
Parking: There's plenty of parking but on a Friday night it's packed.
Kid-friendliness: My 10 y.o. was very happy with his sushi. There's a wide variety to choose from so we're never disappointed.
Very pleased with the food. Enjoyed my Mai Tai as well.

Got takeout from this place for the first time yesterday with my spouse, and we have come to the conclusion that we will never order from here again. Every item was very, very underseasoned (literally tasted like there was no salt added anywhere). The pork fried rice was an unnerving, nearly blackened color (which I have never seen before) and the pork was very overcooked. A sushi roll was ordered, and what arrived was NOT what was ordered. The egg drop soup tasted like nothing and aggravated my stomach. Also, my spouse loves duck sauce, so we ordered a larger container. Neither of us have ever seen brown duck sauce, so we were wary, and rightfully so. It was so overly sweet, overpowering, and almost rancid tasting that it went straight to the trash. Just like everything else.
Also, we paid $40 and recieved rather small portions of food. If you genuinely think this place is good, then I'm sorry, but you have no taste at all.
Don't waste your hard earned money, or your stomach. I wish I could give this place 0 stars.
