I have gone for breakfast before which was great. So tonight decided to get dinner for take out, everything was great! And the portions were huge! It was the BEST chicken parm I’ve had in a long time!!
Tried Merola’s tonight. It was disappointing to say the least. I ordered a buffalo chicken calzone which is advertised as having crispy chicken and blue cheese. The dough was extremely tough and chewy. It the chicken was not crispy. And by that I don’t mean it was breaded chicken that lost its crisp being inside a calzone. It was grilled chicken. And several of the pieces were chewy. And there was a sparse amount of it at that. If there was blue cheese in there it was blue cheese salad dressing not actual blue cheese. The calzone itself was leaking out a combination of water and grease, because there was far too much cheese in it. I had to cut off a solid inch and a half of straight up thick pizza crust just to get at the sparse contents of the first end piece. The inside of the calzone was white. We all know buffalo sauce is not white. I didn’t taste much buffalo at all. A but if a hint but that was all. Not spicy in the least.

Recently discovered this place from a recommendation. Very good so far, for the few times we've been. (We drive from CT which is about 35-40 mins)

Merola’s is outstanding! The food is delicious, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the bar is fully stocked with everything you could ask for. But the real star? The salad bar. You don’t see them much anymore, and having one here feels both nostalgic and cool — Merola’s knows how to keep dining fun while still serving top-quality meals. Between the great flavors, friendly service, and that awesome salad bar, this place is a must-visit!

Standard breakfast fare, try the hash
Great seafood platter. Sat at the bar. Bill came to $47.60. I left $58 and didn't even get a thank you from the server. Counted the cash right in front of me, put her $10 in her tip holder and walked away. The owner deserves better. This does not help the business grow, only hurts.

Fantastic breakfast and the wait staff was really great. The home fries are to die for. Wish this place was closer to home!

Love coming to this place when I’m feeling a little lazy and don’t wanna cook! 🧑🍳🥘 Had a cute little redhead with freckles serve us, left us smiling and had us laughing all night long! She was such a sweetie! ❤️ I ordered the Cordon Bleu with mashed, enjoyed it so much. Don’t forget about the soup and salad on the side, it hit the spot! Recommend this place, 10/10!! ⭐️🤩

Very comfortable, reasonable pricing. Breakfast was good for all 3 of us $10-$20 and on a dinner trip $20-$30 we enjoyed the scallops. $23
