I don’t care if the service is slow. What I do care about is being treated incredibly rudely by a server after being ignored for quite some time. (Server demanded to know who seated us — it was the bartender — and then had a nasty attitude when I asked if she was our server.) We left. And got shouted a sarcastic goodbye by the same troll. My husband and I have season tickets to the Providence Bruins and the Village Tavern is our go-to restaurant. I have never had a bad meal and the prices are great for such quality meals. I just had the Ahi tuna steak and it was perfect!
