A hometown favorite since I can remember. Every time I order, it's always delicious ? and made how I wanted my order to be. Reasonably priced in today's economy. Staff is friendly and welcoming ?. They take cards or cash and also deliver as well.
Parking: Parking is in a Plaza with other businesses and is a shared parking lot.

Let’s talk, who makes their own pizza dough… famous pizza does!! After investigating NO ONE else in nearby Portsmouth RI does!!
The HOME made pizza of course was deliciously crispy also thin crusty and so tasty while having had the mushroom and onion topping.
This is a guaranteed 5 Star recommendation!!

Not what it used to be. That’s really all I have to say.
Let me tell you a little story. Famous Pizza Tiverton was my go to spot for pizza. NEVER AGAIN! My wife ordered $200 of pizza for my son’s 5th birthday party. They called giving my wife attitude because they had put Saturday instead of Sunday. My brother went to pick it up and realized a middle finger on the slip. The guy at the desk said oh i don’t know who drew that crumpled it up and threw it in the trash. (Come to find out the manager was right there behind him when my brother said something) Hmmm real nice way to treat a loyal customer who is ordering $200 worth of pizza. When I called to ask about the situation I was told by the manager there was no middle finger on the slip then said he never saw it. When I went to the store shortly after with my brother and the manager said he didn’t know anything about the middle finger on the slip. When we asked for the slip they had said they just took the trash out… yea ok. Never once did I get a sorry or anything trying to find out why this had happened. The only responses I got from any of them working there were “none of us were working yesterday”. That being said I will NEVER order from this place again and hope they get their stuff together with customer service.

It’s unfortunate this business doesn’t have control of their digital assets. The workers didn’t honor the price posted online.I only brought the amount of money it said it would be online, and naturally it was much more.Buyer beware.

The fish and chips gave me food poisoning. They said they took the temperature and it was safe but their thermometer must be broken because its the only thing I ate and ive been violently ill for over 24 hours now. I will never go back here and I highly discourage anyone from risking it. I'd rather go hungry than spend a dime here ever again.

Like everyone in this day and age, I used Google to check out their menu. The menu is posted on their Google my business (which you MUST verify by getting a post card in the mail)
We’re all aware the economy’s not in the best shape, so to budget I only take the money with me that I plan to spend.
When I get to the counter, they inform me my order is much more than what is publicly posted and advertised. To add I was met with a rude response. I’ve been going to famous since I was a kid (close to three decades). A little bit of kindness goes a long way. Classic pizza (right down the street) for me from now on.

Would give zero stars if possible. We were loyal customers, then for a big party there was a mixup on a $200 pizza order, (mistakes happen, not a big deal) but I was yelled at on the phone, and we received a middle finger drawn on our receipt when we picked it up. Then we’re told we were lying about the receipt when they were confronted about it. Horrible way to do business.
