Yes, this place is exceptional. The flavor menu is absolutely ludicrous. There are HUNDREDS of flavors (I haven't actually counted but there are definitely over 100.) You can make the ice cream/soft serve/yogurt concoction of your dreams, with one (or more) of the dozens of flavors, mix-ins, etc.
HOWEVER. The customer service of this place leaves something to be desired. The staff is young, which is typical of many other ice cream parlors in the area. In fact, the Moose Cafe has some competition with some of the better local ice cream parlors being in the area (such as Somerset Creamery or The Ice Cream Barn.) These places are typically staffed by younger folks, which is great, but sometimes their behind-the-counter-skills are lacking. Or in development. You might not get a nice greeting. You might not even be greeted at all. When you put the Moose Cafe directly against its competitors, there is a clear advantage they have in their flavor choices. For hospitality and customer service, however, there's something left to be desired. The staff may be stressed especially when the place is full (which it often is.) Refining the customer service experience for this place will make it unbeatable, but that takes time.

Great ice cream with 300 flavors of soft serve. I got one of each hard and soft regular servings. The soft serve was only half way filled in the cup. I mentioned this to the server and received a snooty response. The hard ice cream had a hair in it. I did not appreciate the service of the all teenage girl staff. I gave a $2.00 tip on a $11.99 order. First time here, probably the last.

This is such a cute little cafe. Very warm atmosphere, great menu selection. My ice cream cone was huge! Definitely recommend.

Went on 10/5 in the evening. Ordered a carrot cake ice cream. Got the ice cream and it didn’t taste anything like carrot cake so I went back twice and the cashiers were very rude and refused to remake or get a new flavor without paying. Acting like it was coming out of their own paychecks to get a new ice cream. Super disappointing and won’t be returning

I have finally discovered the best ice cream parlor on the Southcoast. A variety of flavors. Soft serve, hard serve, shakes, not to mention bakery items. Kids were amazed by the large Moose ? head mounted the wall. Nice grassy noll area with chairs and picnic tables. A+++

I loved the Moose Cafe! I went for iced coffee month through RI Food Fights and had such a great coffee. They also have a wide selection of food and ice cream. I definitely will be back in the future!

I went to Moose Cafe as part of the RI Food Fights Iced Coffee Summer Celebration! It was my first time, but definitely won’t be the last! The brewed coffee was delicious and it was hard to decide between the flavors! I’ll be back to try the ice cream!
