With tip, the check came out to $57. I didn’t plan on spending this much this evening, but given the quality of the food, I’m not too disappointed. Without alcohol, you can easily spend under $30 for a good meal. Seems like a good place for a date night with lots of booths facing the ocean.

We dine often at the Dory. The atmosphere is very nice and people are having a good time and there is a good variety of people. The hosts are great and Jared is an amazing person. He and Aaron are a great team. We used to think the menu needed more variety (largely because we dined there often) and recently there are lots of dishes being added and rotated which has been great! The waitstaff are across the board nice, interesting people who do a great job. There is an exquisite casualness to the experience but don't be fooled they're a very well run restaurant. Highly recommend!

The food was excellent. However, our waitress was not attentive even though the restaurant was slow. I had to approach another server for the check because we felt forgotten about. We were interested in desert but decided against it because of the service.

It has become an Easter tradition. Everything was beautiful. One of our favorite laid back restaurants in Newport County which is a great value for what you get.

Honestly, just divine. The cocktails were perfectly balanced. Good array of appetizer options for different dietary requirements. Steak frites were the best I’ve had in New England, which is saying a lot because I’m originally from cow country. The hand cut fries were crispy and I suggest dipping them in mayonnaise versus ketchup or just eating plain - they were THAT good. Overall, a nice, chill but elevated dining experience. I will be back!

Slow(-ish) service and noisy, but the drinks were luscious, our apps (deviled eggs, chowder, and salad) were fresh and tasty. I LOVED my swordfish dinner (as did a dining mate who also ordered it), and G ordered the mezze plate (she was HAPPY).
