Located in picturesque Tiverton Rhode Island, this restaurant serves some of the best cocktails, appetizers ( try the home made pastrami or the octopus) as well as fabulous steak frite and other dinner specialties.
The Red Dory was fabulous. Two outstanding dishes of note were the wood-grilled swordfish with brussel sprouts & mashed potatoes AND the fish and chips. We had eaten at the Red Dory five or so years ago and it was just as wonderful this time around. We stayed in Newport and it was well worth the 25-min drive.
Always a great meal at the Red Dory. My family has our favorites that are staples on the menu. But the turnip soup was exceptional on our last visit. The service is always friendly and attentive.
